OOC: Does the dual-wielding system work the same as DnD?

Haven't thought that far ahead yet.

I'm thinking of having it subtract 1 from your dex, but allow two attacks per turn.

Hmm... the way the DnD system works is that one weapon attacks normally and the other gets -4 or 2 unless the person has high dex. chooses to learn how to dual-wield, and one weapon has to be smaller than the other unless the weapons are short sword size or smaller.

Uhhh.... I dunno.

We can try a little bit of both, real time feedback is what makes a game better.  DnD system for now I guess.

My only problem is the whole two-move per turn thing, which doesn't exist in this game.

Swift listens to the plan intently awaiting direction on exactly what he's supposed to do.

OOC: That's not how dual wielding works in 3.5 or in 4.0 Right now you should be at -10 on your offhand, and -6 on your main hand.

InC: Thrice shakes his head.
"I've no clue what you're planning, or why, but I'm done with it. I'll be in the elven village when you arrive."
And with that Thrice puts his eight Senbon away and strides out of the caves, making his way to the nearest cave and leaping into it, jumping from branch to branch toward the tree house.

We could add a bonus like +2 if the second attack connects.
InC: "Does anyone else here have the ability to kill silently? And do any of you elves have a short or longsword?"

OOC: I don't think the an extra weapon should give an extra attack, either. However, maybe something like extra damage but lower hit chance? I don't know.

InC: Korugar sighed. This situation was just becoming more and more complicated with this guy, and to make matters worse Thrice had abandoned them, if only temporarily. "Look, about the only other chance you have is getting Aira to shoot him from a distance. Personally, I'm not so eager to interfere after our....warm welcome," he shot the elves a glare. "In fact, if we didn't need the wagon I'd probably just follow Thrice and wait for the rest of you. Regardless, I'm no help in this situation, at least not during the day."

InC: "We could fabricate a few flaming arrows and torch the wagon."
