OOC: Well don't worry, I'll stay with you
Sephrenia awoke to the sound of buzzing, the pair were taking off for the day - hopefully they would come back with a route to civilisation... and food. After eating what little fruit was left from the night before, Sephrenia started to head out once more towards the east, to the Dead Marches and then onwards to The Uncharted Shore.
After only a couple of hours of walking, the ever familiar sound of buzzing came from directly in front of Sephrenia - the Fireflies had returned. So early in the day must mean they found a village. Mustering up some more strength, Sephrenia ran towards the pair, slowing as she got closer. When the three met, the Fireflies hovered for a moment, before turning around and heading off."Did you find a village? A place for food? Answer me!"
But as always, the pair did not reply and instead just carried on towards their mystery goal.
The group travelled for a few hours, through forests, over a small river - despite being incredibly thirsty, however, the Fireflies did not let Sephrenia stop - and then finally, she saw it. Night was just coming in, but there it was, a small town.
Sephrenia made her way into the centre of town - a strange place, very different from what she was used to back in the Shore of The Air. As she walked, Sephrenia could here the locals talking about her."What a strange being that is..."
"Is that another adventurer?"
"Damn foreign beasts gathering here"
"I wonder if it eats our food..."
Sephrenia just ignored the comments, instead walking towards a building which looked like it sold food - she was in luck, it did. As she walked through the door she was met with a smile by the patron, "I trust even out here, you sell fruit?"
Sephrenia inquired.
The patron grumbled as he went into the back room, returning shortly with two boxes of fruit. "How much do you want?"
Sephrenia dropped 10
next to the fruit. "I'll take the lot."
The man grumbled a little, something about prefering
, but took the coins anyway. "If you feel the need to share, I've heard there are some other adventurers in the town. Don't know what they're doing, maybe you should seek them out?"
Sephrenia looked at the two Fireflies, already holding the boxes of fruit and nodded. It would be nice for some company at last - well, company who talked back when spoken to. "I'll be somewhere in the village, let them know I'm around if they want some company"
Sephrenia smiled at the man before turning and making her way back out into the village, wondering if the so-called adventurers come looking for her.
