Vaderael failed to completely my meaning; potential is present, but I sense trouble and negative emotion within the girl as well. Pray that my instruction will suffice, lest my fear be realised.
While Arcterael was concluding his final thought on the matter, outside the chamber, Vaderael made the following reply, "The Archangel expressed some minor doubts, though I reassured him somewhat, for I have confidence in you. As for the remainder of the day, do as you wish, provided that you do not land yourself in trouble."
Subsequently, he departed for the Guardian residence to the west.
And yet, while all of this was transpiring, another Angel entered Heaven. Falindael rushed to the Gates of Dusk.
"Greetings, Falindael, Veteran Sword; please state your business and purpose beyond Dusk," said a Guardian watching the entrance.
"I come upon the order of the Archangel of Justice, who regrettably must complete a mandate on the Middle Plane and thus cannot come in person. I am to pay visit to his friend in the Cells."
Though wary of permitting anyone else except the criminals from passing beyond Dusk, Falindael's representative authority could not be questioned, and he was granted passage.
Swiftly traversing the prison area, for he wished to linger no longer than was necessary, Falindael found Xanriel's cell. The latter was clearly in a predictably miserable state, curled in upon himself, and the sight almost elicited some pity from the Sword.
"Greetings Xanriel, Catyrael dispatched me as his proxy to deliver this."
Opening his right hand, a white, shining jewel glimmered in his palm.
"Catyrael would rather that you not descend into madness, and though it is an inevitable fate for those whom remain here for prolonged periods of time, he believes that this will provide you with enough Hope to sustain you through your tribulation. It is a Star, and a very valuable one; may it inspire you. May the Light of Solraegiel be with you."
And then, he was gone.
