Arcterael returned his attention to the Chief Guardian again, maintaining an intense eye contact that suggested some form of communication beyond the Angels was occurring which surpassed mortal comprehension and ability.
In this private manner, Arcterael spoke into Vaderael's mind, "This is the daughter of Lucius? I am not inclined to enthusiastically embrace that belief, for I see little of that valiant and yet hopelessly romantic hero in her, even if she be an Elemental Master."
"Time is all that will be required, in my opinion. She may yet prove herself to you in surprising fashion."
Now speaking openly once more, the Archangel of Hope said to Sirenes, "The fact that you have come is testament to your loyalty to you friend, but for that, Vaderael would not have had need to conduct you before me. On the other hand, if it is introspection you seek, and knowledge of your father, I will agree to assist you, if you so wish.
