Though they possess Void powers, when Heaven sealed away the Obyrinths, they did that which essentially sufficed to contain them using the most powerful and extreme of enchantments at their disposal. The discriminating factor remains that the Obyrinths have external assistance.
I am not completely sure about chronological location; for the moment, I shall wait for other opinions.

"May Solraegiel have mercy on his soul," said Vaderael, as the Guardians of the Peace bore witness to Xanriel's passing beyond the Gates of Dusk.
After a brooding silence, one of the Guardians asked, "Vaderael, what are we to do about his friend? In fact, why would she even ask to accompany him? It is as if she wishes to travel beyond Dusk herself."
"Never underestimate the power of love. It is the strongest, greatest, noblest and highest of emotions accessible by the sentient being, and whom could not envy those whom truly feel it in its purest form? If anything, if there was one emotion which defined Solraegiel's being, it was Love. As for her, we do not have the authority to decide what she should do; take her to the Council so that they may assume responsibility for the decision."
Vaderael and a companion detached themselves from the rest of the group as the latter travelled west, presumably to the residence of the Guardians, escorting Sirenes north, closer and closer to the Crystal Arch whcih shimmered brilliantly ahead.
The other Guardian, however, remained wary, keeping at a distance from the half-Nymph and regarding her suspiciously.
"You should relax, my friend. The only dangerous segment of this mission was arresting Xanriel, and he surrendered himself without any resistance, surprisingly. As for his friend here, if she had wanted to attempt something, she would have done it as the Singer was being forced into Dusk," said Vaderael.
"Maybe, but I am always wary when strangers are permitted into the Celestial Realm, sir."
"Have you forgotten that only an Age ago, we flourished upon multiculturalism? In fact, have you forgotten that Demons themselves were welcomed into Heaven then?"
"Only upon one unique occasion, sir, and that event was of the type that will never come to pass again."
In the meantime, as the discussion continued, they had arrived at the Court of Highest Light, chamber of the Council of Heaven.
The structure itself lay directly under the Crystal Arch, and was preceded by a flight of hundreds of gleaming white, marble steps.
The three began the long ascent, and upon attaining the summit of the flight of steps, proceeded through the massive entrance doorway into the building with its unfathamobly high ceiling, and whereas in other areas of Heaven, marble seemed to be the most common material used in construction, here, everything was formed from sparkling crystal which only served to enhance and reflect more beautiful Light.
The floor at the very end of the room seemed raised in comparison with the rest of the surface of the floor, and seven ornate, almost majestic seats were upon it; presently, most of them were empty, but one tall figure whom emanated a powerful Light rarely seen save in Catyrael and Emparael was there.
Standing before him, Vaderael then inclined his head slightly in deference, and said, "Greetings, Arcterael, I have come presently to seek your judgement on a matter."
"Our valiant Chief Guardian of the Peace is always welcome here, Vaderael. State your inquiry which is your purpose," replied the Archangel of Hope.
"I have just returned from the mission to the Middle Plane in the company of Emparael, which consisted of the arresting of the criminal Xanriel, once known to us as the Singer. However, on the Middle Plane, Catyrael convinced me to grant a request of the Singer: to permit his friend whom stands before you now to accompany him. I do not have the authority to decide what shall be done with her while Xanriel languishes in Dusk, which is why I shall leave it up to you."
The Archangel of Hope smiled and turned his attention to Sirenes.
"If I am to decide what shall be done with you while you remain with us, then I shall require your aid. Answer the following question of mine, if you please: why are you here? For what purpose, and what do you seek and desire?"
