I shall then.

Dorfl and Ragen charged the troops, Xanriel and Zanathos fought the Bone Dragons, Hiemdall had taken out the necromancers, Nyxia was incinerating any undead in her range, and Johnathan was locked in combat with his uncle. Where they clashed, waves of darkness and death energy spiraled outwards, causing utter destrucion in their wake. But it wasn't enough. Even with the main souce of skeletons, the army still numbered in millions, and while Dorfl could take out an indefinite amount of skeletons without sleep or food, he would have no chance against Mavros.

He spotted a very faint image of a dark, imposing gate that was taller than anything he had seen, reaching up to the eternal moon. He saw small, black figures firing pulses of energy into it. More necromancers Dorfl thought That gate doesn't look good, and I don't have the time to go through all these skeletons. So he jumped into the air, and at the apex of his leap, became a brilliant white, beginning to glow, hanging there until he was no longer visible in the ball of pure, blinding light.

He arrived at the necromancers moving as fast as light, causing a blinding flash that reduced the darkness creatures around him to ash. But the gate was finished, completely solid now, and a clawed hand emerged, followed by a demon titan, who blocked out the eclipse, and amazing managed to cast a shadow over the battlefield. He opened his mouth to utter an incantation, raising his hand to launch a sphere of flame at the town, the same building Zanathos was on. And suddenly, Dorfl was there, grunting and throwing the fireball towards Mavros, who easily deflected it at Nyxia with a wave of his hand.

But before Dorfl could move, even as light, the demon had swiped with lightning speed at the place he had occupied a moment before, He's too fast, Nyxia has to cover herself.

Then he grew, taking the light from the brightest volcano of Fire, the largest city in the Gravity Basin , the mighty Forests of Life, the highest point of the City of Air, the most blistering desert of Time, the random brightness of the Entropic Shores, the coldest peak of the Frozen North, the faint light from the Dead Marshes, and even the blinding glare of the Kindom of Light's sun was dimmed for a moment, and grew to a size that matched the demon titan, becoming a tower of brilliance, illuminating the battlefield.

Then he threw a punch at the titan's rising fist, and the two clashed, as Johnothan and his uncle matched blades below them, each pair using all his strength to overpower the other, and each of them evenly matched.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Epic stuff. :)

Heimdall sent flay after flay at the Skeleton's weak minds, shattering their ability to think. Many of them crumpled to the ground after being hit by a psychic attack; still others staggered around, confused, only to be speared by a Demon or slashed by a Vampire. Zanthos had retrieved a quiver full of Night Arrows from the dead body of a Skeleton archer and was using it because he had already ran out.

Then, suddenly, the roof literally collapsed from underneath Heimdall. He quickly cast a psychokinesis shield around himself, in case any falling rubble were to hit him. He slowly lowered himself down to the floor of the building he was on. It was a large building, and now it had a pile of rubble in the middle of it from where the roof collapsed. Heimdall stood atop the pile of rubble, wondering what caused the roof to collapse.

Then, it struck him. A mental blow so powerful, it completely broke apart Heimdall's thought process for a second. It was as if a dark hammer had suddenly came down upon his mind and had pounded it in two. More out of instinct than of actual awareness, Heimdall reformed his mind and formed and shielded it from harm. A dark force encircled his mind, looking for weak points, and then, just as quickly as it came, the mental probe disappeared. Heimdall heard a whooshing behind him; his eyes flew open as he saw a column flying at him.

It was one of the columns of the building, flying vertically at him. Heimdall literally flew to the left, using his psychokinesis powers more than anything else. He hit the ground hard but unharmed as the pillar crashed behind him. Then, a figure stepped out of the shadows at the end of the room. His robe was a deep black, but it was laced with a macabre indigo. His face was entirely skeletal, but what was even more shocking was the ominous purple crown that sat upon its head. A Lich King, thought Heimdall. I'm dead. Mavros has under his command a LICH KING.

"You killed my Liches," said the Lich King, his soulless voice echoing strangely throughout the room. "I escaped. You are a powerful Mind Warrior, Ulitharid. You will make a fantastic general in our Army of the Dead."

"I refuse," said Heimdall without a pause.

"Those are the last words that you will ever hear," said the Lich King, closing his eyes. Heimdall knew what would come next - a devastating mental attack. But this time, he was ready. He steeled his mind, layering it with the most powerful mental defenses he could muster.

The mental bolt from the Lich King smashed into the armor of Heimdall's mind, glancing off of it. It shattered the armor to pieces, but at least it did not harm Heimdall. Heimdall picked up the broken pieces, melding them together into a spear which he feinted at the Lich King. As the Lich King threw up his mental defenses, Heimdall dropped his mental assault and instead channeled his energy into a rock of rubble about the size of himself, flinging it at the Lich King at an amazing speed.

Without a word, the King extended one ghastly arm and the rock exploded into a thousand shards.

I will stop you from doing any more damage, or die trying, thought Heimdall. He rushed towards the King, his blades extended. The King pulled out a staff with a blade at each end, pulsing with dark energy. The fight had only just begun.

OOC: Now if only we could have everyone else on at the same time and each to an epic boss battle  :)

As the titans clashed, each lightning attack from Dorfl blocked by one of the demon's various appendages, and the golem spinning and warping to keep pace with the demon, Dorfl knew he needed an edge, this fight would not end as it was until one of them got reinforcements, which the demon admittedly had a lot more of. He began to heat up, and as the demon's heat began to be sucked out of his body, frost formed on his arms and Dorfl took advantage of the moment to appear behind the demon, and bring both arms around in a two-handed smash that knocked him down, although he imeadiately began to get back up. Dorfl leaped, landing on top of him and pinning him to the ground, still growing hotter, spewing molten light on the demon and the undead around it.

Mavros, seeing what was going on, thrust Johnathan aside with a wave of death, and began to attack Dorfl, somehow forcing him off the demon and away from his army, but the golem took one last look at the other titan, saw him aiming an attack that would destroy the town and kill Hiemdall and Zanathos, and exploded, concentrating and firing all his captured heat and light energy at Mavros, and as he was overwhelmed, the blast continued to incinerate the demon and shot off into space where it probably wrecked some sattelite. Unconcious due to lack of anything left to power him, Dorfl fell to the ground. But Mavros stood, up, burned and beaten but still very much alive, and turned to block a blow from Johnathan, who had caught up with him and was launching red-black energy waves from his sword.

OOC: Yep. That would be fun. :)

Heimdall jumped upwards, lifting his right knee to bring one of his knee spikes plunging into the Lich King's chest. The Lich King simply dodged to the right, swinging his staff at Heimdall as he dodged. Heimdall blocked with an elbow, then slashed repeatedly with his blades, using all four of them continuously in an unbroken martial assault. The fact that the Lich King had a double-tipped staff and that he was amazingly agile meant that none of his blows landed anywhere vital. The Lich King then did something unexpected.

In one motion, he pulled his staff apart, revealing that it was really two short swords attached together. Taking advantage of the confusion, the King stabbed Heimdall in the chest with both swords. Heimdall dashed backwards haphazardly to avoid the attack, tripping over a rock in the process. Heimdall lay sprawled on the ground as the King converged upon his fallen form.

"It's a pity I have to kill you," he said without a trace of emotion. He raised a sword, about to plunge it into Heimdall's chest. Heimdall quickly jabbed with his mind into the King. Although it was a relatively weak attack, it was unexpected enough to make the King drop one of his swords. Heimdall got up quickly and scooped up one of the swords, spinning around and slashing at the King's arm.

Amazingly, the arm came clean off. The Lich King merely laughed - a chilling laugh that seemed to fill the entire space. No blood sprang from his wound as he launched Heimdall backwards with a flick of his wrist. "You're a fast one," he said. "But it's time to start playing for real. Tell me, Ulitharid. Have you ever seen someone do... this?" The King suddenly split into two.

"What?" shouted Heimdall, instinctively raising his blade. Now there were two Lich Kings in front of him. Again, the eerie laugh emanated from the Kings as each of them split into two once more. Heimdall could only watch in glowing dread as the King became an entire army of Liches.

This is not going to end well, thought Heimdall, unsteadily holding his sword in front of him.

OOC: My epic boos battle now

INC: Ragen was in a crowd of skeletons, "Nothing new to me" Ragen brang up his mace and hit there heads clean off. Continuing battling the skeletons, Ragen noticed an increasing amount of demons, he swung his mace to one demon stomach then used his mace's handle and clubbed the demons head. Suddenly a giant demon came up. "Mortal, are you killing my wonderful demons?" In a split second the demon conjured a medium sized demon. Ragen lifted his shield, knocked the demons head then smacked his mace over the demons torn out face. " Your next." The demon laughed.

Lol, what you CAN do is make someone revive Dorfl. Then yall can continue. :)

I don't need any help; anyways, no one should be discovering me. I'm in a random house.

Heimdall looked around him, a thousand King Liches radiating outwards.

"We will spare your life if you surrender now," they said in perfect unison. "And you shall be given money and a great title."

Heimdall was confused. Creating so many clones of oneself was simply unheard of, even from a King Lich. "What kind of trick is this?" called out Heimdall.

Then, he got it. That was precisely what it was; it was a trick. Heimdall mentally attacked the nearest King and was not surprised to see it simply vanish. It was an illusion; the King Lich had simply conjured a powerful vision spell. Heimdall concentrated for a second, compressing his energy into a whirling ball of fury. Then, just like he used to kill the Liches, he released the pent-up energy, vaporizing all of the fake King Liches. Only one remained.

"A sharp mind as well as a sharp body," said the King Lich. "Very nice."

"Enough of this," said Heimdall. "We're almost done here."

"If you insist," said the King Lich. With a flick of his wrist, he sent the sword flying at Heimdall, propelled by psychic force. Heimdall dodged to one side and caught the blade. "Nice try." With a blade in each hand, he ran towards the King, picking up speed with every step. The King hurled rocks and pillars at the Ulitharid, but his nimbleness combined with the use of psychic energy persevered in the end. Heimdall evaded all of the King's physical attacks.

He was a few feet away from the King when the King launched his unexpectedly fierce mental attack at him. A gigantic mental hammer, perverted by the taint of death, came swinging at Heimdall's consciousness. Heimdall was unprepared for the simply massive assault on his mind, and he was simply overwhelmed by the sheer mental power of the King Lich. You thought you could beat me, didn't you, said the King into Heimdall's mind. The hammer transformed into a hand as it grabbed Heimdall's consciousness and began to squeeze the very life out of it. Heimdall felt his life force slipping away from him even as he struggled. Concentrate, he thought. Don't let him crush your mind.

The physical world was meaningless as the King Lich and Heimdall were locked in a silent mental battle. Slowly but surely, Heimdall knew he was dying. He had failed his friends; the King was simply too powerful.

His friends.

Xanriel, the angel with the tortured past, who had confided within Heimdall his deepest secret.
Jonathan, the vampire demon, the distraught soul in his moment of greatest need.
Dorfl, the lava golem, who shared with Heimdall a fiery passion for revenge.
Ragen, the mysterious man, who Heimdall had seen in a dream and had never forgot since.
Zanthos, the forest elf, who had once saved Heimdall from a painful death.

And with these thoughts, Heimdall's energy came flooding back.

Like a bombshell at its final moment, Heimdalls' mental energy exploded outwards. The Lich King's mental assault was literally exploded to pieces. Heimdall wasted no time. He opened his eyes, free from the Lich King's mental grip, and plunged both swords deep into the King's chest.

I was planning to have us kill the army and then have Johnathan do a 1 on 1 with his uncle, but w/e...

Now I need someone to revive him...He needs to go to a volcano, or a really good forge, can't think of any way to get him there...

OOC: Dorfls injured or something? let zanthos take care of that :P

INC: The Red demon continued laughing, " What a pity, i have to kill someone that made me laugh, well, i dont have to kill you..." 8 demons were conjured around Ragen, "Blood thirsty these things are, one bite and your down for the count" The demon grinned, Ragen concentrated, and summoned graboids and shriekers to take care of demons. "Your my opponent demon, dont cower away" The demon continued laughing, " You think im only good for conjuring? you fool... The demon shrunk half a foot, then spread blood wings, fresh with blood, and conjured a pitchfork. Ragen charged the demon, but his speed greatly increased as the demon dodged the attack easily. "Too slow." Ragen threw his shield at the demon, the tip perfectly faced toward the demons head and spiked through it. The demon fell, a small puddle of blood circled the body. Ragen was walking away, when the demon rose again. "Who said this was over?" The demon was not pleased, and ripped the shield from his head and tossed it to the ground. "Round two" the demon said in a deep harsh tone.

The demon lunged at Ragen, who barely managed to jump away. "The end, mortal, the king of conjuring has the last laugh." The demon summoned 20 large demons, strong but dim witted. The main demon fell down, restless from all the summoning, hoping that was the last needed move. Ragen quickly picked up his shield retreated up stairs near the gates. Slowly, Ragen took his time smashing the demons head with his mace. After 5 demons down, his right arm was too tired, he used his shield to pushed the demons off the stairs.  Ragen had reached the top of the stairs, and all the remaining alive demons were climbing all on the staircase. Ragen flattened his shield, he jumped on the shield, which slid down the staircase and whacked the demons head of clean with the momentum combined with his mace smashing the demons head. After he reached the bottom, Ragen made his way to the fallen demon. "Even if i die, you will never win the battle." Ragen picked up his mace with two hands, and smashed the demons face, and laughed, then coughed, and died.

The Magma Mountains aren't far away... :P A dragon can fly you there or something.

The other guys are busy beating up the armies.

Bye, guys. I'll be back tomorrow. :)

The Lich King choked. He clutched at the swords in his chest, pulling them out. Heimdall knocked them back out of his hands with ease; the King was now very, very weak. The Lich King collapsed to the floor, bent over double. His crown tumbled off of his head. He was dying. Suddenly, the Lich King whipped out a bottle filled with a strange, purple fluid.

"Put that down!" said Heimdall, grabbing the King's arm.

"Get your hands off of me. You don't want this touching anything solid; it will explode," said the dying King, rasping out his words .

"An... an explosive?" said Heimdall.

"Yes," said the King. "Powerful enough to kill both of us at this range. Now, if you want to live, listen carefully."

"Lich, you are almost dead. Just give up your fight. Taking me down with you to the grave is going to get you nowhere."

"Then," said the Lich King, dark eyes twinkling, "Nowhere I shall go." Those were his last words; his spirit had departed from him. He dropped the bottle. Heimdall watched as it seemed to descend in slow-motion towards the stone floor. Heimdall shot an arm forwards faster than he thought possible, catching the bottle just before it hit the ground. AFLATOXIN, read the label on the bottle in big letters. So it wasn't explosive, thought Heimdall, tucking the bottle in one of his pockets.

It's time I got out of this place, said Heimdall, using his psychic energies to propel himself out of the house and onto the ground. The battle was still raging around them, but the defenders seemed to be gaining ground. The vampires, assisted by the demons and a deadly Ragen, were slowly pressing the skeletons back. The ghouls and zombies were still wandering around, but the Bone Dragons were running away from the cohort of imps. Xanriel saluted to Heimdall as he led the chase against the remaining Bone Dragons. Jonathan was still locked in battle with Mavros. Zanthos, wielding two flashing daggers, was slicing up a horde of zombies. Heimdall rushed to join him. "Don't worry, Heimdall. The worst is over," he told himself, plunging himself once more into the heat of the battle.

Where is Xanriel in all of this? Excluding Jonathan (who is unavailable), he's probably the strongest guy we have.

While his friends and allies were fighting for their lives, Jonathan was locked in a deadly combat with his uncle Mavros. Mavros was wielding a long saber of gray bone, a sickly green venom oozing constantly from the blade. Arsenic, Jonathan thought. Morte had given Mavros the pestilent blade of Death, and indeed it was an even match with his own Vampire Gladius.

Jonathan hated to admit it, but even in his demonic form he was not going to defeat his uncle. I'll have to take True Form, Jonathan thought.

"Where is your power now, eh boy?" Mavros sneered and taunted. "Life Sever!"

"Soul Harvest!" Jonathan responded with his own attack. Waves of darkness and pestilence crashed into each other, decimating all that is near them. Immediately after the blast had dissipated, Jonathan lunged at Mavros with renewed vigor. Mavros parried that attack, and continued to trade blow after blow with Jonathan.

"It's useless, dear Nephew! You cannot defeat me like this!" Mavros said after blocking a vicious strike that was meant to end his life. "Why don't you take your supposed True Form, boy?"

"You don't deserve to see my True Form, traitor." Jonathan spat at Mavros's face.

Mavros smiled maliciously. "Then, dear Nephew, I shall make you take True Form." He thrust Jonathan aside with a wave of poison, and leapt away.

It took Jonathan a second before he realized where Mavros was heading to. His beloved Nyxia was concentrating all of her attention on blasting the undead to bits, and she was glowing with power like a dark goddess of the night. Mavros and his pestilent bone sword was aimed straight at her back. Jonathan's stomach twisted in a knot as horror filled him. "NYX!!!" He shouted.

But of course, Nyxia was not a pushover. Turning around gracefully, she shot forth a bolt of darkness straight at Mavros's face. Cursing loudly, Mavros swerved to the side, narrowly dodging the blast. He leapt away as Nyxia launched more bolts of darkness at him.

Jonathan rushed to Nyxia's side. "Nyx, are you all right?" His stomach was still sick with dread, afraid that Nyxia might have been infected by the deadly poisons of Arsenic.

"I'm fine, John." Nyxia smiled reassuringly at Jonathan.

Raw and unparalleled hatred and fury swept through Jonathan's mind. "You tried to hurt Nyx. Traitor, I'll make you wish that you had never been born!" He all but bellowed at Mavros.

"Finally angry enough to take True Form, eh?" Mavros continued to taunt Jonathan. "Bring it."

Jonathan turned to Nyxia, his face grave. "Nyx, get everyone out of here quickly. I don't want them to become collateral damage."

"John..." Nyxia's beautiful dark eyes were filled with concern and worry. "All right," she said. "Avenge your parents, John." She quickly kissed Jonathan on the lips before the leapt away with a burst of darkness.

"Now, Mavros..." Jonathan said in an almost bestial snarl, and his blood-red eyes began to glow. "Prepare to face the worst nightmare of your life!"

Even though he didn't want to show it, Mavros tensed. He was anxious to see what sort of deadly beast frightened even Phaeus Shade, the great demon archlord.

"吞天納地,魔渡眾生。天下萬物,唯我至尊。" Jonathan murmured an obscure, archaic chant. "原身——噬血魔龍!!!"

Mavros watched Jonathan in morbid fascination. Raising his sword high above his head and pointing straight at the sky, the blade burst into sanguine flames. Then, the flame spread, slowly covering Jonathan's body starting from his arms, to his body and legs, then to his wings, and finally to the tip of his long sinuous tail. Jonathan's entire body became a roiling mass of darkness and red flames, streaked with black lightning.

But it was not over yet. Far from it. Like a serpent, Jonathan's tail twined around his own body. He spread his large draconian wings, spanning an entire twenty feet, and then abruptly closed them in on himself. When the wings covered his own body like a sphere, they melted and compressed into himself. Jonathan now resembled a human-sized sphere of pure darkness.

Then, the true horrifying transformation began. The ball of roiling and squirming darkness that had been Jonathan twisted violently, then it expanded and stretched into the sky. Mavros watched in shock as Jonathan elongated himself, until he was even larger and longer than the titanic demon that Mavros had summoned earlier.

Then, the coating of darkness and red flames began to fade away. A pair of gigantic black draconian wings burst out of the colossal creature's back, almost obscuring the entire sky. Black limbs and claws sprouted out of the dragon's long serpentine body, claws that were designed to rake and tear. The creature's entire body was covered by obsidian scales, from head to tail which ended in a long, vicious spike. The dragon's head was decorated by two long sharp horns pointing backwards, and one long, blade-like horn pointing forward that protruded from his forehead. The dragon opened its massive jaws, revealing a mouthful of blood-sucking fangs that could easily rend the tiny Mavros to shreds.

The dragon opened its eyes. The sclera was still pitch-black, but the irises were cold. Primal. Predatory. They were as red as freshly-spilled blood, and the patterns of the Mark of Darkness could be seen faintly within them. Those eyes met Mavros's dark, abyssal ones, and Mavros felt a terrible shiver of dread run down his spine. The dragon roared, a primordial and terrifying sound that seemed to echo within every corner of darkness.

"I am darkness. I am everywhere. I am Bloodshadow."

Mavros's eyes widened in terror, as tentacles of darkness that seemed to sprout out of literally every shadow-filled corner seized him, restricting his movements. Jonathan, no, Bloodshadow, looked at Mavros with its Eyes of Darkness. Streaks of dark energy began charging in its jaws.

"Die, traitor."

Editing in progress. Do not ninja.

EDIT: Brace yourselves, adventurers! The dragon on steroids is coming! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUNNNNNN!
Still not finished, though.

EDIT 2: OK, it's finished. I've just spontaneously decided to give Jonathan some sort of split-personality when he takes True Form. And that split-personality is named Bloodshadow :P
If I godmod, I godmod with style.

But don't let Mavros die just yet. He is probably going to escape, because we're not even at the false vampire arc yet! Maybe Morte is going to come personally and rescue him, and they'll face Mavros again when they're at the Dead Marshes.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.
