A Nymph, thought Heimdall. He reflected back onto the time when he stared into the bottle of Nymph's Tears, sensing an amorphous yet infinitely powerful life force within. We still have yet to discover all the secrets our world contains, said Heimdall to himself. One day, when he would be welcomed back into the Ulitharid community, he knew a life of traveling and discovering would be his dream. Knowledge is my quest, thought Heimdall.

Heimdall slept in an upper story room that night. He dreamed, as always, but this dream was a premonition. In his mind, he saw a town covered in shadow. The town was incredibly detailed, with houses and marketplaces clearly visible. Then, as Heimdall walked around the scene that was in his dream, he realized that this was the town he was currently residing in. He wandered around in awe, but he knew that something was amiss. The feeling in the air wasn't right; he could sense something bizarre all around him, but he did not know what.

Then, it happened. With the suddenness and vastness of a descending dragon, the entire town was smothered with darkness, as if it could not have possibly gotten any darker. Heimdall gasped. He heard a great roar as a thousand figures converged upon the town. They were sickly and pale, with wicked spears and gleaming teeth. They barbarously charged into the town, destroying everything that came upon their path. And in the midst of all of them was a tall, dark figure. They utterly destroyed the defenseless town, and as Heimdall caught a glimpse of the two gaping abysses that were the eyes of the tall figure, he woke up with a start.

He could not tell the difference between day and night, but he woke up nevertheless. "You're a heavy sleeper," noted Xanriel.

"I had... a nightmare," said Heimdall. "And to Ulitharids, nightmares are never any good."

"Really?" said Zanthos, interested. "A nightmare?"

"Yes," said Heimdall. "An army descending upon this very town. It could have been nothing, but..."

"But?" demanded Dorfl.

"But... Ulitharid dreams... are unique," forced out Heimdall.

Just then, Nyxia and Jonathan entered the house. "Why don't you explore the town for a while?" suggested Jonathan.

"Seems like a good idea," said Heimdall, distracted. His nightmare had disturbed him, and he had to clear his mind. Heimdall, Dorfl, Zanthos, and Ragen followed Heimdall as he left the house, catching a glimpse of the Kingdom of Darkness.

Hey, a very good conception for Jonathan's uncle! Any names for him yet?

Zanthos decided to try and find some stores where he could buy spells. However, he only had 16 :life and 3 :water. :life quanta was not likely to be used in the kingdom of Darkness, but he decided to have a look anyways. He wandered away from the group, wondering where to start. As he walked, he felt many dark eyes burning into his back. Zanthos ignored them all and continued his exploration of the town.

OOC: Sure, why not

InC: Dorfl walked along with the group, attracting stares from the various species of the town. He noticed Zanathos separating from the group, and turned to follow him. "Going somewhere special?" He said, falling into step with the elf.

OOC: Why don't we all split up into pairs?

OOC: Im going my separate ways :P

Ragen left the group, and searched for a blacksmith. Ragen noticed a blacksmith, and noticed the owner was cloaked, and very shady looking type of guy.
"What can i get you?" "Well, i need to see your best shields and maces and-. Just then, a thief stole a piece of armour on display and was running. "Stop thief!" the smith called out and Ragen ran after the thief.  The thief tripped and dropped the armour and scurried off. Ragen picked up the armour an returned to the blacksmith. "that was my prized armour, here, take what you want, i insist" Ragen said his thanks, and took a nice sharp mace with a diamond shield, and looked for the others.

There are only five of you, so one of you have to go alone. Jonathan is probably going to spend some time with Nyxia.

Tomorrow, Jonathan's uncle will invade this town with a massive army of undead.

"How dare you, traitor! This town is marked as neutral ground by Incarnate himself!"

"Heh. Foolish child, I no longer serve Incarnate. His will is nothing to me. All hail Lord Morte the Undying!"

OOC:

Really? REALLY?

InC:

Life... Xanriel quietly dropped from a window on the second floor of the building, and began to prowl the alleys. Finally, after ten minutes of searching he found what he was after, a homeless beggar. Xanriel walked up to the man, kneeling and inspecting him.
"5'11", approximately 127 pounds, test subject number one seems to be malnourished..." Just as the beggar began to ply his trade, Xanriel's hand shot up, covering the man's mouth, after quickly checking that no one was in the alley, he slowly pooled his corruption, feeding the man a full dose of Aflatoxin.

Er... What is Xanriel doing? Why did he just kill that beggar for no reason?

And I'd prefer if he doesn't create a nymph in the Kingdom of Darkness. One nymph is enough. Do it somewhere else.

I'll come ;)

Heimdall walked with Zanthos and Dorfl. He was looking to purchase some water spells, and he had 15 :water on him. Obviously, foreigners were unwanted here in a town of darkness, so Zanthos and Heimdall walked quickly and carefully. Heimdall spotted a strange shop in the corner which had a strange display. Shards of obsidian, strange helmets, and a twisted dagger lay on its display stand. A cloaked figure stepped out of the shop. "Looking...for something?" Said the shopkeeper.

"Yes," said Heimdall. "Spells, if you have them. Water or Life spells, if you please."

"Hmm..." said the cloaked figure. "Travelers, I see. You come far. Well, we have a few that may interest you. Right this way," said the cloaked figure, leading them into his shop. Heimdall, Zanthos, and Dorfl warily followed.

OOC: All in good time, all in good time.

as for the Nymph, no worries. Given his recent fixation, which nymph do you think he'd rather have? Darkness... or...

OOC: Xanriel's going to kill us all... :o Good thing rock can't be diseased...

InC: Walking into the shop, the trio saw several customers, mainly vampires, who dropped what they were doing to stare ominously at them, in the way of customers to foreigners everywhere. The shopkeeper quickly brought them to a room in the back where he brought out a tray holding bottles of adrenaline, basilisk blood, and one tiny, tiny vial containing a drop of liquid that while being clear, somehow gave off an essence of blueishness. "This is the best of my foreign stuff, anything you like?". Dorfl picked up the basilisk blood, slowly turning the container over. "How much for this?" he asked the store owner
