We can either control him (unfair, perhaps?) or just wait to do it in another couple of hours.

Another note: in 10 minutes, I will be leaving this forum and not coming back for a good 20 hours or so, just like I normally do every day.

Someone else can DM or yall can just wait for me if you're patient enough.

Character's Name: Zanthos Brightbow

Element: Life

Brief Description: This is a willowy, pale-skinned elf with long blond-white hair and grey-green eyes.  He is 6' 2", 180 pounds and has broad shoulders.

Story: The son of the Lord of the Elves (Yelmar Silverwood), he grew up in his father's shadow. The Elvish Council has always regarded him as juvenile and foolish. Now, he is journeying to prove his worth and show that he is ready to inherit the Lordship. Zanthos starts his journey in the Forest of Life, promising to bring back the head of a Fallen Elf as proof that he is strong enough for the Lordship. He is very in tune with nature and is also a good shot with his longbow. Slightly headstrong and ambitious, but not overly so.

Skills (up to 5):
Create Life -Create a forest creature by using the life force around Zanthos. The more creatures and vegetation around him, the more powerful the creature.

Absorb Quantum - The passive ability to absorb 2 quantum per day from Nature.

Life-Giving Energy - Heal any creature up to full health by using the life force from creatures and vegetation around Zanthos.

Fleet Feet - Use the power of nature to enhance the speed at which Zanthos runs.

Shattering Shot - Shoots an arrow at a target foe which destroys any shield or armor that they might have.

Er... This isn't quite the kind of sparring I wanted to see. I'd refrain to make this into a turn-based battle, which would be boring. I'd prefer if we just write bits of stories.

Maybe I'll just write a few paragraphs about the spar between Ragen and Dorfl, since neither of them are here now. You can choose to use this, or you can just ignore it. But remember that this is just a practice fight, and therefore no one will really win and there will be no real point to a victory.

Oh, and about the Fallen Druid that cursed Xanriel: I think it should be that he received power from Chaos Lord.

And which God did Xanriel serve? I'd think he served Miracle.

EDIT: Nah. Never mind. I guess I shouldn't be roleplaying for other people since I don't fully understand their characters. I'll just go ahead and start with Xanriel.

"Nothing personal against you, Xanriel, but you are an angel and I am partially a demon. You can't deny the fact that we're natural-born enemies." said Jonathan, as he looked at the fallen angel before him. "This is only a practice battle, but I do feel that we will need to fight each other sooner or later."

"I couldn't agree more, Johnny boy." said Xanriel.

Jonathan's eyebrows twitched as a wave of irritation washed over him. He did not like being called by nicknames, and he especially hated being called a child. "Show me your full power, Xanriel, and I will show you mine."

Ragen throws his mace at the golem to his face and then use his legs to swipe the golems legs to the floor.

Sorry, Blood. I agree that Turn-Based Battles maybe aren't the most interesting thing about the world, but they DO nicely accomplish several things.

1) How battles actually work.
2) How characters will fight.

I think these things will be useful for later on, at least. Plus, paragraph fights can drag on and on

Ragen expertly tosses the mace in the golem's right eye at an alarmingly high speed; Ragen is lucky, because his arm did not feel pain when he threw it. However, when he attempted to trip the golem, the golem's massive weight and size made the move fail.

Dorfl: 75 (Status Affliction: Hurt Eye. Attacks have 10 % reduced accuracy.)
Ragen: 90 (Status Affliction: Hurt Arm. 50 % chance to deal himself 5 damage if he uses his right arm.)

Dorfl draws on the Gravity around him, and gains another 3 feet in height. Towering over Ragen, he cuts in with his arms from both sides, trapping Ragen, and then falls on top of him.

OOC: I edited my 5th skill since Permanents don't look like they'll be used in this game.

Dorfl, with his decreased agility, hurt eye, and the time it took for him to grow, executed a very slow, albeit very powerful, move. He smashes down upon Ragen, dealing massive damage, but Ragen manages to slip away from under his body. Dorfl is now lying down, stomach to the ground.

Dorfl: 75 (Status Affliction: Hurt Eye. Attacks have 10 % reduced accuracy. Is lying down.)
Ragen: 70 (Status Affliction: Hurt Arm. 50 % chance to deal himself 5 damage if he uses his right arm.)

Zanthos left the Elvish Council in anger, in a rage because they had called him childish and weak.

"Mark my words, I shall come back one day, I will show you what I have done, and I shall become Lord of the Elves! I will not shame my lineage! I will bring back the head of a Fallen Elf, and you will regret the day you used those words to describe me."

As he traveled through the forest, traveling farther and farther away from the Tree of Life, Zanthos began to feel pangs of remorse for the life he had left behind.

"It's too late for that now. I must be strong and make my father proud."

And so Zanthos gritted his teeth and continued to travel South towards Aetherland and eventually the Entropic shores.



Zanthos now has 12 and 5 , the extra two from "absorb quantum."

OOC: This is just a little start to Zanthos's journey. I will post more later.

Ragen slipped from Dorfl, used "stone skin" and jumped on the golems neck and pounding his head with both hands.

Ragen's powerful blows, combined with the downward force of gravity and the force of sheer stone, dealt massive damage to the golem. However, Ragen's hurt arm had finally caught up to him, making him feel a twinge of pain.

Dorfl: 55 (Status Affliction: Hurt Eye. Size: Very Large. Attacks have 10 % reduced accuracy. Is lying down.)
Ragen: 65 (Status Affliction: Hurt Arm. Activated: Stone Skin. 50 % chance to deal himself 5 damage if he uses his right arm. Is kneeling on top of Dorfl.)

Dorfl, YO MOVE.

[Terroking]

Dorfl's immediately begins growing hotter, and he quickly shifts his body into a clay-like form, then hardening to stick Ragen on top of him. He then grows hotter and hotter, and his heat-resistant skin begins to melt, causing Ragen to become even more entrapped.

OOC: Check my character's skills on page 7 if you didn't get that, I added something in as a replacement 5th skill. Btw, we should probably only go to like 10-30 hp since we're sparring and all.

Yes, whoever hits 10 first surrenders. Then gets healed by Xanriel.

Ragen first felt searing coldness, then a burning sensation as he felt a burning pain searing into his flesh. He can try to get off Dorfl, which has a 25 % chance of succeeding, or attack him. However, any movement will cause more pain to Ragen.

Dorfl: 55 (Status Affliction: Hurt Eye. Size: Very Large. Attacks have 10 % reduced accuracy. Is lying down.)
Ragen: 60

Stuck: Cannot move around; he has only a 25 % chance of success if trying to move.
Burning: Any attempt of attack or movement has a 50 % chance of dealing 10 damage to Ragen so long as he is stuck to Dorfl.
Currently on top of Dorfl.
Activated: Stone Skin.
