OOC: How do we fight this thing?
InC: Heimdall's eyes flashed with fury as he whipped around, spinning and slashing all around him. He was untouchable - a whirling form that sliced off any potential attack and slashed into the bodies of enemies all around him.
Some of the older Fallen Elves recognized him. "Hey, it's the Ulitharid who tried to destroy our village!" said one of them, sending a Chaos Seed flying at Heimdall. Heimdall ducked and it hit an Elf behind him, who was promptly trapped in a cube of ice. Heimdall dashed forwards and sent a powerful mental blow crushing into the Elf's mind with staggering force.
"Then perhaps you know not to trifle with me," said Heimdall, destroying the Elf's mind completely. The body, not being able to survive without the mind, simply crumpled to the floor.
Heimdall basked in the beautiful act of revenge. More Fallen Elves seemed to recognize him, running away in fear, but others pressed on, slashing at him with wicked blades and chaos seeds shot from staves or wands. Heimdall dodged them all and either smashed their minds to bits or maimed them with his blades. A group of Elves even tried to take over his mind, but Heimdall resisted all attacks and slew them all.
Suddenly, the fighting stopped. Elves scrambled away as Jonathan shot forth a dark energy, grabbing and swallowing a sea of Elves at once. The fight was quelled, for now, and then, a figure stepped onto a rooftop.
The Druid.
Heimdall knew him well. He was considered the leader of the Fallen Elves besides the Chaos Lord himself, and he was played a major part in destroying Heimdall's village. The Druid spoke, but Heimdall did not listen; he was too angry to listen.
He let out a great shout. "You will not survive today, Druid!"
The Druid looked at Heimdall. "Look who we have here," said the Druid, his eyes glinting. "A naughty little Ulitharid, thinking he is more powerful than he actually is. You lost before and you will lose again," said the Druid, laughing. Before Heimdall could retort, the Druid had disappeared from view.
And then Heimdall saw it. Not the butterfly.
"Chaos Effect!" shouted Heimdall. "Everyone move away from the buildings!" Heimdall watched as a tiny Abomination - barely the height of a dwarf - suddenly appeared. With a mere glance, the Abomination had expoded a building. The party watched in fear as they gathered together in a clump. Buildings exploded all around them, and huge chunks of debris fell upon the party. Heimdall quickly expanded the boundaries of his mind outward, forming a perfect semicircle of telekinetic protection all around him. Within seconds, he was buried in a pile of rubble. However, the protective bubble had worked, and Heimdall dug himself out of the rubble relatively unharmed.
He saw Xanriel rise from behind them, his wings flapping maniacally. Ragen was bruised, but he broke out of the rubble not far ahead of them. Dorfl seemed to not be hurt at all, as he was protected by a layer of stone that was his skin. Sirenes, Jonathan, and Zanthos arose bruised and battered, but very much alive.
And yet, the Micro Abomination was still toppling buildings. Heimdall knew that something had to be done. He stared at the Abomination a couple hundred yards up ahead. He dared not delve into its mind to attempt to kill it that way - you were lucky to escape sane from an Abomination's mind. Instead, they would have to attack it physically.
The party ran towards the Abomination as towers toppled all around them. Zanthos strung his bow and fired it, but the Micro Abomination leapt upwards with abnormal strength and dodged it.
This ends now, Heimdall thought, fast approaching the form of the Micro Abomination.
