I have no "proof." However, obviously one of us is a fake god. If it were me, I see no reason that I would have done something like this; it would only make me an obvious fake god (causing me to be lynched tomorrow) while only eliminating one villager. However, you can imagine that in 3 nights it would be probable that the oracle would find at least one fake god and at least one civilian. I am that civilian, and you are that fake god. The other person who he had investigated, by the way, was linkcat - but he died.

honestly its a neat trick, and im impressed with the strategy, but you choose the wrong guy to try and pull it over on.  yes as a fg you will die next round but, knowing you'd get called out on it there would be a huge fight back and forth.  Other than you and i one of your fellow fg's would jump in, siding with me.  The chain of events would be....

I get killed and prove i'm innocent and you'd be rid of a threat
You'd get killed and prove your a fg
The misc other fg would solidify a trust with the remaining innocents.  Then they'd be sitting pretty....one fg who could be vocal and sway the opinions of the innocents, and one sleeper fg whom would stay quiet until the end.

Shame on all three of you, and good luck pulling it off.

Actually, I would just be sacrificing myself for almost nothing. Remember, fgs are at a minority - a 1 for 1 trade is bad for the fgs. And that strategy you mention... can you give any reason why, if I were a fg, I couldn't just try to pull that off... y'know... without sacrificing myself?

Why?

Because if a sacraficial FG is involved then the fg that is vocal against him has his reputation locked, and if done right, never to be questioned until MUCH later rounds....however if there isn't a sacraficial FG involved then once the vocal FG's target is killed and proved innocent, his reputation becomes negative and he becomes suspect.

You just aren't getting it, and playing ignorant won't help you.  I'm done explaining the stratagy that you're using.  The fact remains that you instantly steped up after the oracle was killed and started using referances that can't back you up.  Because i called you out on it your buddy won't step in and co-accuse you along side of me anymore because he would just give himself away.  So fellow innocents, pay attention to who quietly slips thier vote in without legitimate remarks, they will be the people to suspect along with implosion.

i had not actually believed he was the oracle in the firs place but when he died i had realized that he was telling the truth
