In a tumultuous state after the bloody murder of Xoned, the assembly was getting fearful of the future. The struggle seemed to be winding down... but it was still totally unclear who would emerge victorious. Xoned and killsdazombies had been fierce political opponents, so with Xoned gone it appeared killsdazombies would have political reign. killsdazombies had one goal today: to kill Korugar. He was in good company with this message, and the assembly quickly decided Korugar would be the next target. Korugar was outraged. He continued to protest his demise and denied accusations of being a fake god. However, the assembly had decided and his rants fell on deaf ears. He was taken to the gallows to be hanged. On the way there, he continued to complain. He was set up, and the platform released. However, miraculously, when falling he broke straight through the rope, penetrated the surface of the earth and burrowed deeply into the ground. He kept falling, burrowing a hole to the center of the earth. Out of nowhere, lava started to seep out of the hole...

The lava seeped out slowly at first, then began to erupt like a volcano. Everyone ran as fast as they could. The lava coalesced into a humanoid form; the village realized this was Korugar, taking vengeance for having been killed. He sprinted at his biggest oppressor, killsdazombies. killsdazombies ran and ran, but the golem kept chasing after him, fed by lava still flowing unstopped from the hole in the ground. The golem eventually caught up, and completely engulfed killsdazombies in its fatally warm body. Realizing that Korugar had really died and was animating this abomination with power drawn from the earth's core, the group took a very thick stone and placed it over the hole. The lava tried to pierce it, but couldn't. The golem, losing its power and weakened by a sudden onslaught of rain, dissipated and cooled into molten rock. Everyone wept for killsdazombies, as a powerful ally had been lost, even though a fake god had been neutralized in the process.

With only one fake god left to kill, the mood in the village changed. They became optimistic. They were happy. but were they celebrating too early? They would soon find out...

Korugar was a fake god and a shrieker.

killsdazombies was a civilian and a vulture. 

Day 8 (or whatever day it is) begins.
