His death gives us the most information. If he flips town, we have a good idea of who should be investigated. If he flips mafia, those same people are semi-cleared.

If Sub is town, serprex and TorB need to be investigated. If Sub is mafia, then serprex and TorB look better, since there's no real advantage to bussing this early.

I guess comparing to 74 would definitely lower my expectations. But that left much less of an impression, except for trying to hinder the town win as town.

On another note, I'm strongly opposed anyone unnecessarily revealing their role before late game. This game has a huge mechanical change from the usual EtG mafia games, being each role being rolled once and only once. With enough interactions before the roles go public we might be able to expose some lies regarding roles. Keep your roles to yourselves unless the upside for revealing is really sweet.

That also means no asking questions that pressures people into revealing those details, amiright? One should definitely start with that.

Disagree. If I am town, it is far more likely that town accidently lynched me. Unless you now want to tell me that mafia likes to publicly pick targets, rather than piling on misguided town votes.

For this game, I set these guidelines for myself:

• Separate those who you would not want to lynch from the others.
• If you don't have a read, just lynch someone from those "others".

I feel this might be more fruitful than using inactivity as an excuse to get rid of those people who make solving harder.

EBWOP: isnt that scenario kind of assuming TorB/serp are w/w, if Sub is town? Actually im not following the logic much at all. essentially what you're saying is any hardcore push this early involves at least 1 town, since bussing isnt very good early.
