PlayerOa - definitely mafia. I actually decided to read through the thread and it's pretty clear to me. This is kind of the main reason I'm making all these posts all of a sudden is so I can threaten killing him with Aqua. I'm pretty sure 95% of you guys will doubt that I'm actually Aqua but we'll see if Oa will or not. Also anyone who happens to know my actual role or did any sort of visiting of me last night other than serp, will know that there's a good chance I'm actually Aqua for reasons I won't say now.

On another note - why such a focus on Aqua? I get that he can shoot twice, but there are several other vigs who can freely cherry pick their intended target, aren't there?

We've got a handful of one-shot vigilantes, but only the one two-shot role. It's also the most restricted of the vig effects, so if the person we want to kill is a low poster anyway, we might as well use Aqua.

Uhh so if shock surpasses me in posts during the later hours of the night phase... say 10 minutes before EoN. What decides whether it's him or me who is a potential Aqua target?

I spend a good portion of an hour trying to figure out what even the logic behind her switch from "Sub probably town, but good infolynch" to "2 town who couldn't possibly have any information on Sub vote him, so Sub scum" was. But I could find absolutely no explanation.

Not what I said. I suspected that there was a mafia member among serprex, TorB, and Sub. As it turns out, I was wrong, but that's just how Day 1 is.

Now she's looking to either get  aqua to kill shock or allow herself or any of her buddies to do so without having to explain themselves.

Would make sense if I specifically cared about killing shock. I'd like to give anti's substitute a chance to post, and we've already established that we shouldn't be targeting rob. That leaves shock, Naii, and potentially Oa. Of those three, I consider shock to be the best target, but I could be persuaded to pick one of the others.

But why though? The starting position was that you voted serp up and TorB came to the rescue. then serp voted Submachine and TorB followed suit. The only part of this that i would consider implying scum in exactly that grouping is if scum!TorB buddied town!serp to vote town!sub, but that wasnt your thinking in the first place. And Link's post also had nothing to do with TorB, so that doesnt explain the grouping either. And I dont see how once both were nighconfirmed town how that would give them magical accuracy to find scum!sub. Conf!town is more trustworthy, but not more accurate.

My initial angle would've just been Sub and serprex. It was TorB's behavior that made me suspect him. That explains the grouping. I'm also not sure where you're getting the idea that I wanted to vote on Sub because serprex and TorB were voting on him. Like I said, I voted on Sub because he was the last member of the group to not be (nearly) confirmed town.

Well, yeah. I didn't think killing a nearly inactive player was important enough to consider alternatives. I didn't think we would go for anyone other than shock until he started posting heavily.

Kind of? It's not like I had any hard proof, what with it being Day 1 and all. I merely suspected one of the three was mafia.
