Nah, mostly the argument you used last mafia. Using vigi on someone that would get modkilled anyway, in the hopes of town cred. That's how I read it, anyway.

I would not hard claim straight away if i was a cop and found mafia. Unless its in latter stages of mafia.

I guess it depends on how early one expects mafia to find out about the cop. If cop takes info to the grave, that would be a shame. Mafia Emma Planck could identify whom the cop is N0.

Haven't even read TorB's guide yet but would like to say that we could already agree on a lynch this night to give Sin Mal a boost.

not worth finding a target this early and being set on it. It just means the role gets transfered and we lose a player. hows that beneficial to town??

www I would typically agree but also I think a mid day 1 cop hard claim on a scum find from n0 has definite advantages if you are a high profile player or hit a high profile mafia player. It would solve 33% of the team we're searching for and if enough day 1 is allowed to play prior to such claim it forces teammates if the mafia to make hard decisions early about how to handle the proposition of losing a third of their team out of the gate. Also the doc could play the 50\50 game on protecting to try to survive the cop about two nights to get another peek?

But in general I tend to agree that instant hard claim of a found scum is typically the wrong play.

yh on that note, as doc is EoR, should not use it this night incase cop has to claim next day. Can do n2 protection that way. Or just use it this night and bluff the cop proc next day. Yay for playing with mafia heads and confusing them.

It's time to start highlighting some important roles and group the other roles by category as well as suggest their intended usage. Deviating from this intended usage will likely be perceived as scummy, so speak up if you disagree instead of simply ignoring my advice.

Cop: Durandal
Medic: Fu Hua

Cop targets are publicly notified the day after and they cannot be lynchvoted that day. My suggestion is to hard-claim when finding a mafia, say nothing when finding town. Town targeted by cop is more likely to be nightkilled due to notification. You don't need to hardclaim since it is publicly announced in the thread if you find scum.
Emma Planck should target Cop N0, Medic N2 (if still alive). Fake cop claims should be denied by Emma Planck, not the actual cop. I find Emma to be a very useful role but for a 1on1 trade with scum easily worth sacrificing. Also, remmeber that there are two cops in this game. Theresa is more powerful but has to claim after finding scum.
If you have been targeted by Cecilia Shariac, make sure to publicly reveal this, but keep the identity of the person with this role a secret until someone town dies from that role. Verify or deny claims made for that role if someone claims. Sure claim, not sure that the targetted player learns the player's name, though.
All false claims should lead to getting lynched, this way, Theresa Apocalypse can identify mafia that make true role claims if their Honkai Core's ability type differs from their original role ability. Roles are also unique, so if someone claims to be your role, they are lying. I don't think I understand the first bit. But I like policy lynching.

We're going to lynch someone regardless. This way we make use of that role which otherwise offers very little.

Cop claim can even wait until close to end of N1, so short before deadline that mafia has no time to react. Remember: the target cannot be lynched day 1 regardless. I just think it's a shame if cop died with info on mafia.

Well, that clarifies a lot. Durandal makes anyone unlynchable for one day, Herrschers and Valkyries alike. And I totally missed the core's ability type for Theresa. Sounded way too easy for town. Everything starts to make sense now. Still haven't read your plans in the spoilers.

This is correct. If you look at the System Messages section, you will see that Break of Dawn's public notification makes no distinction between Herrschers and Valkyries.
