I don’t because it’s universally agreed upon according to cal’s 2nd post that he does this, or so I assumed. I also thought the 3rd maf would be someone in the more townread or talkative category, so my thoughts were either ian (not falling into that category and instead just being my scumread) or kaempfer/rob/moe in that order of towniness. I don’t currently scum read any of those three, though.

I meant the 3rd in my reads, as i already had 1 scum read in dc and was working under the hopes that my vig hit on dawn flipped maf. I can’t rule out that Cal is scum, but he said us pushing him for info won’t get us a response, and as such, we just kinda can’t get anything from him. I dislike that way of playing the game heavily but it’s what he wants I guess

Without compelling reason I think we should be lynching among ian / www3 / DC / MW today... those not voting there currently what's up? Compel your vote choice into the top candidate strata or explain why you're off-wagon (is anyone townreading ALL of this group of suspects...)?

Why those four candidates? you might ask. They have enough attention to garner more than 1 vote already for a solid period of Day 2 time now thereby having enough content from and/or about them that I think warrants their further attention (ooohhh, again it aligns with where my top scumleans have developed - suspicious?).

Okay, I'm caught up with the thread.

Coffee is getting a wtf from me so far. I'm taking back my townlean on you, but I also want to echo moe and torb and give you the benefit of the doubt for now. I really need to think about this harder (it does not compute to me why scum would out themselves at all or why a townie wouldn't have done it earlier).

Regardless, I think what has been said so far about Cecilia could allow us to draw some association reads (I haven't had the time for that and likely will only be able to dig deeper during the night).

I think I see where you're coming from but this was not clear to me from the first statement. After dawn flipping town you are sus / scum reading Cal, correct? You still assume one or more of the more silent group is mafia? Also, you don't just push them for info if you believe they are scum. You want them dead. I'm afraid only voting on the ones who defend themselves won't get you too far.


On a general note, I don't like forming a top wagon on DC at EOD-ish. But can't say I am really opposed to voting DC on principle. This will be hard to coordinate, though, and is more a way to at least get something out of DC if we are to lynch him.
That and I believe there are good enough other candidates on the chopping block for now.


Regarding Cecilia talk: should we try to find a consensus on role usage for next night? One that is received as such? Mislynch is sure to leave some people bloodthirsty.

Concur with emphasized. I'm still quite conflicted about whether coffee's shooting is more likely scum or town - so wanting to punt on that for a short bit. You were a bit unsure too until coffee claimed - what parts of it now being claimed has you sliding him toward scummy in your reads?

Eh, while I heavily disagree with the decision on shooting d2d, it does not mean Cecilia is (or should be, for that matter) a dead man walking.

Why would the Linkcat NK throw shade on Cocolia? While we won't know for sure, there probably is one, but then again, it's only a 3/16 chance he would find Link, given Cocolia is town. And even then, I feel like Theresa's generally been considered somewhat... overrated. Especially at this stage. It could prove to be useful lategame, but there are, in my opinion, better roles in the current state of the game. Most likely they killed off Link purely because they know the resource he can turn out to be for town.

Yes, what you said about my read on Cal is correct. I have a strong scumread on DC still and ian is also reading to me as scum. As far as the DC bandwagon goes, I think someone reminded me D1 that dc isn’t on at EoD because it’s 5am for them.
