kaempfer is looking more and more town to me. TorB as well - while I'm not happy with lynching shock at all, he's had a similar train of thought as me through the whole vote. Naii and MW are giving me slight sus vibes from this lynch, ian and DC are somewhat excused due to self preserving but I'll be keeping an extra eye on them. Link is Link.

I was getting some torb trust from his "ties are made to be broken" thought process. However, its not exactly hard to work up the courage to decide between two town as mafia. I don't think they should be let off the hook that easily, but it does soften the blow. I am with you on the Naii/MW/DC thought process though. Ian idk, he didnt share his popcorn with me, which is pretty mean imo.

Yeah, if anything, the tiebreak speaks against him as it’s a vintage, low effort no risk town move. But again, in my book, every other action of his has been 100% on point. Solid townread of mine as of now, only kaempfer is higher.

i have to at least slight scumread link for forcing a switch/no lynch with his last moment vote, there were 2 minutes left and that’s just a textbook blitz. you can’t hide under a facade of “oopsie daisies” when people expressed that they townread shock. they were only voting him because of your late vote and claim that he was detrimental to the town as town; i don’t like that at all. torb is okay because we had to lynch someone other than the forced nl we were put into.

Without reading the past 20 pages, I'll say that it is rather likely that one of the original trains (MW, DC, www3) is mafia, And if so, Naii is almost certainly town due to how his first vote on Shock felt. Only way I see that being a scum vote leading to a kill is if 2 scum did it, and that's an extremely heavy investment this early on.

Similarly, I think it is likely that at least/exactly one vote on Shock is mafia.

This is the first time we've policy lynched someone since CR in 59. That one was unanimous though, the only holdout being Sky's vote on me. This one was a lot funner, we should do it more often.

If I had a scumread I would have voted for them. As it stands it's as good an outcome as we were gonna get besides lynching a mafia, and it's a lot better than we got last game with serp in charge.

I’m of opposite thinking that hardly anyone is mafia and mafia were watching us kill each other, as usual. Only DC has slight scum poss imo.

Honestly, with shock already 90% outed as Rita, along with shock being shock, shock was actually one of the worst town wagons for mafia. Should have been easy enough to pick off one of w3/MW/DC and potentially eliminate a much better role. With MW hardclaiming not Durandal, w3 and DC would have probably been the best bets.

Not saying it was a good lynch as town, just that that does not make it an optimal lynch for mafia either.
This also means I lynch voted with what would be optimal as mafia, but what can you do.

And to add, since I've briefly read up on the rest, I change my mind about the lynch. I still think there's a considerable enough chance that MW/DC/www3 are mafia, though pretty much all of the votes on Shock had basically no reason. Naii did it not thinking he would die, DC MW were self preservation, Link was "policy lynching" or something, ian could be someone to look into but I don't think there's enough there yet, and TorB is being helpful enoufh elsewhere to warrant a townread, though I'm absolutely not discounting the chance that he's mafia, and was willing to throw shade at him at some point due to a hunch I had earlier in the day.

This isn't to say I'm townreading the people who voted Shock, just that there was very little to go off considering the context.
