In that case Kiana Kaslana, Himeko Murata and Yae Sakura come to mind. Being observed using those roles would lead to a witch hunt on those roles if exposed, so it might just be mafia laying low. Nothing that proves town.

Well, mafia can try to hit Durandal and then hard-confirm multiple town members even if they succeed, or they can take the easy road and minimize the number of potential confirmed town asap. Until they find out whom Durandal actually is, hitting random town won't do them much good. Durandal is expected to expose themselves by the time they hit even one mafia, anyway.

Or a scum!Durandal is just picking random targets because if they got found and were NOT targeting people then they'd be insta-lynched. But yeah, scum still get to NK twice as often as Durandal can confirm town - so they really should be trying to hit a scum and then out the found mafia.

I wasn't clear in my writing. I meant there is a good chance mafia does have Core of Void. If they knew Link was Theresa they would have used it on him. That's my guess.

I don't recall thinking about it much before... we have talked about "X power role being possibly not in the game" often. I was simply thinking Cores were scum powers and if a scum died, they were revealed with a Core. It seems obvious thinking through it right now to have Cores assigned etc. I have slept several tiems since the game started so if that was ever discussed I since forgot about it. Notable enough now though we should all be on the same page with it.

If Durandal is scum... I'm sitting here pondering how much discussion wolfchat dedicated to whether they check people. But typing through that I suppose it is a bit obvious if you are a scumteam and you roll the Durandal you realize quickly you have to use it - would they use it on town EoR and just plink that town next chance they get? Of course, that would be after they pop champagne and recover from the party hangover surely occurring if mafia rolled the town's investigative role.   :'(

That doesn't compute (trying to avoid WIFOM scenarios here, but eh)... you have no other stronger scumleans or suspiciouns at this point now that shock is dead whom you say you scumread for redirecting kae on N0 as now-flipped-town!Rita-shock? Then you don't really want to lynch either of moe or myself, your top two scumreads... What gives? Seems quite shaky to me... but it is certainly appreciated (or more) that you're putting things out there [alignment TBD].

TORB: Laid the gameplan out early on. Engaged and very towny. I still believe that as knowledgeable he is about everything, that could be due to having another pad to discuss this. Only reason hes not in V.

Coffee: REALLY dont like the promise to protect then failing to do so. Almost feels like you said you would so that he didnt get targeted by anything else as to not disrupt the kill. Like roleswapping or not, thats kinda scummy thing to do. Also, id like to point out him telling info roles to not reveal anything. There are only 3 mafia this game. A mafia kill now would set us FAR ahead. Info roles could be killed off before sharing as we are already 3 town down.

As far as trying to save Naii, yea i dont really blame you. I dont really know why Naii was getting votes to begin with. Seemed like people doing the typical and usually bad "if X is scum then Y must be town".
Looking like i will be gathering votes again tonight. Oh well. Ill role claim at EoD.

What do you make of this then?

I think Oa was trying to go through a process of elimination to discover as many roles as possible. Remember, by the time he died, he wouldve known 8 (?) roles. Since each role is only distributed once, he can narrow my role down quite a bit, probably down to 2 or 3.
