If it was related, it would have been the other ability of that role. Each role has 2 abilities.
It's probably worth asking, but can there be multiple copies of one ability and only 1 of another?

I recall Kuro mentioning it's possible. Even if Kuro controlled role distribution to include every role in the game, he could have done anything with those who were about to get duplicate roles, e.g: having spikes of a single role instead of equal distribution.
