Even Nights

- UTAlan uses Refugee Ability 1 (self-protect, no voting next day)
- Solaris uses Politician Ability 1, targets rob*->UTAlan
- Doctor uses Ability 1 on Solaris

Odd Nights

- Coffeeditto uses Bodyguard Ability 1 on UTAlan
- Observer uses Ability 2 on UTAlan
- Doctor uses Ability 1 on rob*

Potential Pitfalls

- As of now, I'm the only confirmed townie. This plan relies on protecting unconfirmed individuals. Not necessarily bad, but could subconsciously be providing town feels for rob* and Solaris since they are being protected.
- This assumes we have a town Doctor and a town Observer (which are not confirmed) and that even if we do, they silently go along with the plan.
- If everyone goes along with the plan, Jailor can't do anything to hurt us on even nights (unless they target randomly and happen to hit the doctor). On odd nights, Jailor can hit Coffee and leave me vulnerable to NK, but Observer will see who targeted me.

Anything I'm missing?

* Note that rob can be replaced with just about anyone in the above plan, except Solaris, Coffee, and me.

Good plan. I'd like to suggest replacing rob with me, however. I'm the closest thing to confirmed besides you.

Since it is fairly close to end of the day phase, and most likely I am to be killed off I'm gonna apologize for acting like a village idiot.

I did not know Link had claimed cop, and may have acted more out of emotional anger/rage at continually being called scum instead of town, instead of shooting with a logical scum reads. I was the assassin who shot Link.

Sorry I have been really inactive and not a good towny player, I thought I could handle mafia again hoping I could manage about 100 posts per day or night phase but this is much more than I can read and acknowledge per phase.

All I have left is my Ability 2, and my unfortunate but poor activity levels, so kill me off and hopefully mafia loses and we win!

I'd love rob's take on this. Does it change your read on him?

I'd love YOUR read on it, UTA... you're MUCH more confirmed than myself given you have that awesome Espi N1 kill to your 99.9% credit.

It looks like mathman is claiming:
* To be Hitman.
* Used ability 1 snipe on Link previous night phase.
* KILLED the town Cop.
* Been afk nearly the entire game having a total of 13 posts at time of this writing.
* Has resigned to a fate of being lynched today.
* Offers no additional solving or town-benefit input.

My take:
~ Appeal To Emotion (ATE) is a common scum/Criminal thing to do when under the gun because pretending to solve or be 'town useful' risks spewing their teammates (that is, giving away who is teamed with them or who isn't).
~ mathman has not offered any attempt to solve or help town in this post... hence, ATE.
~ Given the current size of the wagon on math I suspect at least one Criminal, regardless of math's alignment, is in the group.
~ Shooting the town Cop who CLAIMED is _really_ bad play given the situation. Bad enough that he is claiming to be town AND HAVE SHOT THE SAME TARGET AS the Criminals did i.e. aligned his Night Action with that of the faction whose win-con is eliminating town.

--> If math is really Hitman and really did shoot Link last night then if I ponder for a bit more I think my current gut of math=town may be right.

Im at a good point inbetween nyquils so i'll say some stuff

1. Constantly mentioning the N1 outplay UTA did, and constantly mentioning how he saved the day (Using words like awesome/incredible) gives me a kind of "sucking up" vibe and downplaying your own confirmedness seems to be playing to it as well. Its not something im acting on, or suggest anyone else acts on, but its important to note these things I think. Then again, I scum-read rob 7/10 times it seems

2. Mathman has professed to essentially, not playing the game. It seems he only looked for keywords (IE, Mathman) and shot link out of "Dont attack me Im town"-ness and lots of players, myself included, get when they are accused.

And youre right, it is entirely an appeal to emotion, but its not one with a /point/ usually the appeal has a structured goal you can see, it might be hidden but its there when it has a motive behind it. I've read it a lot now and I dont see a real selling point. It looks like a bow out to me, as gino said.

Lets think about what that means, a town bow out essentially is "Im not playing anymore byeguys" so is it really bad to lynch him? Of course, with it comes the fact that we just killed a town, and are a step closer to death, but realistically if we werent in a situation with another target (it seems today we have a few, Im not sure how the vote has really evolved, most of my reading has come with a drug based haze) it wouldnt be the end of the world to lynch a useless (read: Given up) town "just in case"

Im never a supporter of the purposeless lynch, and I cant jump on the mathtrain with the thought that hes town, but im not about to condemn it either.

Another alternative is to lynch dawn or someone less with outrageously low post count.

side note, fabian should be talking a lot more since he was just released from jail. He should be asked about last day/night and the current day a lot. I dont like that hes still so quiet.

I agree with KDZ about math here, and still feel scum from math. Also, I'm voting now because I'm afraid I might fall asleep and be unable to wake up before the night.

Except Kuro explicitly commented on why fabian wasn't killed for his slipup with the "e". I doubt he would have made any comment at all if fabian was faking it.

Yes I can vote to at least try to save myself, but I was waiting until the last minute (err at least in the last hourish) because if I was going down, I wanted to go down in style and aid in my own death.

He was saying nobody counter-claimed you. As in, nobody else claims to be a Hitman who targeted Link on N2. (Which semi-clears you as town.)
