If the protection is working, Coffee can mix it up by randomly protecting different people on random nights, to be less predictable. If he is mafia, the most we can achieve with this method is that UTA lives longer, otherwise it would be too suspicious for him

This isn't a unique one-off... consider Politician ability 1 alternating with refugee hiding -- or just simpler Doctor-every-night on UTA then he can even keep voting every day too.

If you think Coffee is scummy then I don't think your post here, Sub, is a reason to avoid voting a scum-read.

So you're auto-discounting Link's opinion? In any case, part of it is Link's reading you as his top scum and part of it is general scum-read based on how several players have voted in relation to you. That is, I feel like a few players that are otherwise just not providing much content or any solving-push in the game have popped in at times with votes that only make sense as 'saving' you. Also, have we mentioned Link's scum-reading you?

We know Link had no report on me and the only evidence he provided against me was the vote I did on sub, which I have (multiple times) discounted and I retracted it later that day. Link's read is based on my vote and nothing else he noted, so why does that make his read more valid than anyone else's?

Excellent - I expected that would be your response or something similar. If you don't mind, what scum-reads do you have right now? I understand that you have town!Coffee and null!Sub reads but anything else?
