So what did we learn? Because I learned nothing while losing someone who could have been useful later.

Every post on d1 that mentions www3 in relation to the vote (well, most of them, there's bound to be a bit of fluff) is an interaction that can lead to discussion, and in many cases a potential read on the people involved. Very few of them are significant in their own right, but it's more like putting a puzzle together. Immediately after his death was finalized and even before that, conversation started that lead to some people developing and discussing reads.

You've said you don't put much value in tells and reads, so it's possible this kind of information just doesn't mesh with your playstyle, similar to how making and analyzing read lists isn't suitable for mine.

I'm giving this method the benefit of doubt, but I'd like to see it unfold. So far you outlined how to do it, but I didn't see it being put to the test.

If we didn't learn anything valuable, just sketchy things that can be easily explained, then a repeated No_Lynch would have been the better way to go, which should be considered for future votes.

However, if we DID learn something, we should follow through with the conclusion. If we learn something from it, but ignore or forget about it, then all of it was for nothing.

You screwed it up yourself. You were arrogant and annoying instead of useful. Town can win without cop, so don't act like you were the most important player.

I don't know why I'm on the suspicious players list, maybe because I'm trying to be a bit more useful than in my past mafias? Anyway, if it's because I voted on www3, I have no regrets, he deserved it. I don't think a cop should play that way.

Regarding the rest of the list, math and Coffee seem like good picks. I still think Lunaris is not all that towny, but maybe that's just me. Usually the "I'm not that good at this game " attitude is a scummy attitude, you don't really need to be all that good at the game to be town.

I'm wondering why would a Jailor use Ability#2 on fabian? The ability is pointless to be used for Town, because Town benefits from a steady information flow. And even if it was an attempt to silence someone, why fabian? He wasn't posting much anyway, this just discourages him even more.

Is it possible that fabian just pretended to be jailed?

Now I'm EXTRA salty given how that could've been easily prevented.

I'm curious if there's more to this than just targeting someone else. Maybe personality traits or roles of teammates are related to this theoretical method of prevention? But then again, learning anything from this would require this to be a post-mortem slip of information, which is unlikely. Maybe they wanted to kill someone else, but then decided to target UTA instead, which shows that they have people who would go for obvious targets, but the people who like to be random seem to be in charge/the majority.

Link, why were you sure sol is town? Just because you think mafia wouldn't let a train run that high? I don't get that at all, nor do i agree with your argument against no-lynch that the mafia wouldn't "let" a lynch of theirs happen day 1.
Day 1, mafia are often scared of over affiliating with eachother. That's why espis save of sol feels sketchy, because it happened late when (i believe) they were panicking.

@link In the flurry of end of day votes, I tried to secure a lynch when it was tied up. There where about 450 posts in 14 and a half seconds so i got overwhelmed just trying to post my vote. I spent like 10-15 minutes trying to post and getting new post blocked. Either way when it was said that people would prefer a w3 lynch over sol I followed the players who have been discussing it. I still want to know who targeted fabian and why though. I said something about asking for that yesterday.

Why is losing Intel cop bad? He's unlikely to help town with his findings unless the first Intel condition is completed and town is closer to winning.

Well, I guess my "i don't even know" feeling means int. Good to know I guess. And uta, cop /anything/ is good. The int team is most likely to win with the town rather than with mafia, unless the int team reveals itself and actively works with the mafia. Int cop may not reveal his findings right away but in a do or die lynch the cop is sure as shit going to drop his knowledge. Or at least, he would if we didn't just hang him by the rafters in a last second scramble. Exactly what I was trying to avoid. I did toss my vote on www3 at the end, but by then I had delayed the game 20 minutes or so, and rob noted he was tired of my antics. I don't think solaris is mafia or int, and I have no opinion on coffee. /sigh. Hindsight is 20/20 but I wish more or any others had cared about making the right choice/vote instead of /any/ vote. We're down a pseudo town and a power role now guys, if we going to make a less second train swap let's delay the game enough to make sure we're going the right way

That being said I don't think this indicitive of mafia play, I don't think they had a hand in it at all, and since kuro already told us the int team hasn't found each other, the int team likely wasn't conciously involved in it either. (Again, acting as pseudotown )

I caught a nasty cold so expect low activity for a few days while I recover. I'll scan the thread for anything directed st me but beyond that I'm out for a couple of days
