What's the downside to claiming Intelligence? Mafia already knows they need to kill all non-mafia, so I don't think finding out who is Intelligence paints a bigger target. They can find out secondary roles with Search, but not primary. Sure, lynching Intelligence > Town, but a chance at lynching Mafia > no chance at lynching mafia. Where is the down side?

(Yes, I understand you wouldn't be a confirmed Intelligence player, so Mafia could claim it, but then they're asking to be Searched and when found lying would likely be lynched as a result. And town has no reason to claim Intelligence that I can think of.)

Please clarify - because you're putting words in my mouth or overlaying intentions onto me where I don't think they exist.

I'm trying to solve the dang game - and as town I have this method of doing it: vote, poke around, and attempt lynches.

Surely you're town-leaning the people pushing the No Lynch wagon yesterday... if you are then share the reason and if not why not?

no, IMO we should always use our one true confirmation tool as towns, the lynch, and anyone voting nolynch is inexperienced or has alterior motives
