The people voting are going off of gut feelings. That counts as random voting in my eyes, because they have no plausible reason to be voting on the people they are.

You seriously cannot find any kind of reason to suspect someone even close to where 40% chance to lynch scum on Day 1 interests you?

I think you might be scum here -- can you point out even one past instance where you so staunchly stood up for No Lynch like this?

You summarized it pretty well. Those were all (relatively) earlier in the day, though, before the apology. Things seemed to have settled and I think votes are on Sol because of how they so quickly escalated with Sub. Now that Sub's apology is out there and at least 2 votes have been removed as a result, maybe we can get some sort of mutual de-escalation? (Although having a scummy target would definitely help and I've gotten nowhere on that so far.)

By that logic then we may never vote to lynch anybody unless Officer's play skillfully and have good peeks on other players. I'm calmly also pointing out that 90% of how this game is played should be gut feelings, internal discernment, and using intuition to act instinctively - especially in cases where it moves forward the very aspect of the game you claim to use for No Lynch voting (that of lack of information).

I see no reason as to why we should lynch someone during the first day phase. I've always been against first day lynch, since nobody really knows anything about anyone else involved in the game.

I would like to stay here until the deadline just to prevent any further turnarounds, but I haven't stayed up until 5 AM for a long time, and I do not want to change that just yet.

I may be suffering from a disconnect with how so many here prefer to play mafia games. I just cannot get my mind around the idea that suddenly this game No Lynch is just expected to be accepted as ideal when this game is one of the HIGHEST day 0/1 chances to lynch scum out of the gate.

But the CHANCE that we would lynch a non-scum is what's causing this No Lynch. Lynching a scum would be great, but lynching a non-scum makes it close to impossible for non-scum to win.

I also want to mention that any Observers out there -- the pool of players on No Lynch right now makes a pretty good target to Ability 2 on (that is, to Watch [not necessarily to Track...]) as I expect the Intelligence folks to be poking around in there for searching out other Intel members.

IMPORTANT: I believe high likelihood that intelligence members could be pushing this No Lynch stuff because that is their best way to avoid to inadvertantly sniping each other before being able to poke around...
