Not speaking for rob, but if I did such a vote in this situation (an explanation-less, day-one vote on a very competent player who hadn't played in some time) the intent wouldn't be to vote you out, it would be to use your reaction to it as a gauge for things like activity, commitment, and strategy. In fact, I really expected to receive such a vote myself. Your response to this (coming to this assumption and omgus voting) strikes me as very strong, possibly overly - but then again you always did tend to play aggressively so I'm not reading anything from it.
