Day 1 Ends, Night 2 Begins

*The subjects each sit comfortably in their own rooms. Before them is a PC monitor, the only source of light aside from a flickering fluorescent bulb overhead. On screen is a list of names of each subject, except Linkcat. A timer hits 0, and the image on the screen changes to a coin. One side of the coin shows Kuroaitou's face, while the opposite shows the face of Solaris. The coin gradually spins faster and faster, almost mesmerizing. All at once, the coin stops. Without a moment's notice, screams begin circulating through the ventilation shafts. In room six, Solaris's chair has initiated an electric shock, growing gradually stronger with each scream emanating from his mouth. The monitors show the other subjects a live feed of Solaris's room. Eventually, the screaming stops, and only a faint smell of ozone and burnt flesh can be perceived by the other subjects.*

Well, it would seem that luck is on your side. I am disappointed in you, Chosen, for you had the means to save yourself. Perhaps your reluctance to kill, or the thought of accidentally killing one my other Chosen, has sealed your fate. Well, it's not like you can hear me now. Let this be a lesson to each of you. Your fate is in your own hands now. Save yourself, or no one will.

Solaris was killed and was a Chosen. There were no votes PM'd to me, so as per the rule change, the votes in the thread counted. The lynch target was randomly selected as per the rules.

It is currently 2 vs. 6.

Edit: I forgot to put this night phase's event in. You can make one of three choices. Double any one player's voting power for the next lynch (this stacks), completely negate any one player's voting power for the next lynch (cancels out all doubling a player receives), or double your Perk cap from 6 to 12 this round and each of your valid posts count as 2 posts instead of 1. Be sure to PM me your choice. If your vote power is modified by another player, you will not be informed.

I don't believe I made it clear in the original rules. If you win the "detective" perk, you will find out the role of your target when the night phase ends. If you win the "self-save" perk, I'll inform you, and you lose it at the end of the night phase.

Wow. 2 things stand out - lucky start getting mafia D1 (especially when he could have prevented it!), and nobody sent a PM. Which means only 2 people voted for a lunch on D1. Lame, and making it harder for us to win. Mafia can stay silent, and can rely on PMing lynch votes going forward. Let's get some conversation going, eh? Anyone have a read on me or w3 or kdz?

Dema, why are you revealing if you got any pm votes or not?  I thought that info was secret and this Mafia no one would know who we voted for

Pretty sure that favors town, anyway. Keeps mafia from being able to PM a vote and not post in the thread without anyone knowing. This way if anyone did this, we would know b/c they wouldn't be in the list of people who didn't vote and also wouldn't be in the list of people who voted in the thread.

I think as a rule we should at least claim who we vote for. Hiding that info is scummy.

*Doors begin opening, casting harsh light into their dark interiors. None had slept well this night, with the prior day's events weighing heavily on their minds. Nonetheless, the light raised them from their beds along with the relief that they were able to wake up at all. Slowly, they inched out of their doorways, taking a peek around the room to see who's face was missing, who's room number was no longer green. They saw the face of every other subject that had departed for their room last night. However, one face was frozen, never to move again. The "three" above his doorway had turned red, and only part of killsdazombies stuck out of his doorway, his upper extremities solid and brittle, as if frozen almost instantly. His lower extremities were encased in ice behind him, along with the entirety of his room.*

killsdazombies was an Other. It is currently 2 vs 5.
