I have higher scum readings, of my own research and valuation, on www3 and Ryli _but_ I think early in the day there is information that can be had from pushing along a multi-way (but not too ridiculous *eyes Day 1*) set of trains.

Piggy-back onto UTA choosing to start up on kirby and cite inactivity:
If you are a town player, and you legitimately want to win and be on a winning town side, then being active and engaged to at least a minimal degree makes town's task of uncovering and eliminating mafia (Strawberries) monumentally easier.
In the long run, civilians cannot afford the risk of ignoring the inactive players because the easiest strategy for a scum to employ to hide or survive (this is their goal if they want to win) or not get caught is to simply be inactive and not post. Taking away this strategy is an attempt to force the mafia players to go to option "next" which has several choices but all of which are riskier and inherently harder to do than simply being allowed to do nothing.
