w3 said lynch me when he's dead so if he doesn't die, I don't get lynched.
In regards to a civvy, I consider only the most awesome of awesome power roles (note: this is ROLE related not player history or regard related) should be pardoned or expected to value their own "not being lynched" over worrying about lynching a mafia.
What I mean is, at early game stages town has a very high numbers advantage which allows them to choose to act a certain way that mafia rarely can afford to mimic. That acting a certain way in this case is to devalue their own in-game life where it can be exchanged for helping more to catch the bad guys.
It can be tough for lots of players, even as town and KNOWING this is expected of town to act this way, to disregard their own survival for benefit of town.
Scum on the other hand have to increase regard for their own survival early in order to try to 'catch up' in the numbers game... but balance that with publicly not appearing to be acting as people would if in the minority. Think of it as a case of "minority sticking together and having stronger survival instinct than majority because each one of them represents a higher value or percentage of their respective group".
Could the town players in this game please attempt to adhere to this town-benefiting principle of valuing the looking for mafia over defending themselves where they do not have time or ability to do both. (i.e. - if you cannot defend yourself AND scumhunt or help town then opt to scumhunt / help town more than self-defend)
