Note: I made this post before reading rob's contributions.
Hey! You made a certain read according to you, this early! I thought that wasn't allowed...double standards.
Reads are always allowed and I encourage them, but more importantly I encourage discussion about the validity of them. Can you tell me where you believe I said otherwise?
And if I suspect ryli to be Mafia, why would I vote dema.
Because this isn't about Ryli vs Dema, it's about Kuro vs Dema. Someone you claimed to be town vs someone you didn't, with the same number of votes and the most votes. I'm wondering why you wouldn't change your vote in that situation to have a chance to keep the person you're certain is town alive.
Also, your last two lines clearly "implied" that you are certain I'm Mafia. Why include the line saying you are not guaranteeing it and then follow on and be certain....
I said pretty sure, not certain. If you want me to clarify, moderate lean, maybe like 60% confidence that you're mafia.
Also, had I moved my vote, you would have been even more certain to lynch me this round
Moving this part of the quote down because it ties with this:
But I didn't suspect dema to be maf at the time. Had I switched, and dema flipped town, it would be RiP www3, don't deny
Personally, I would not push a lynch on you in that situation unless you exhibited the behavior that leads me to believe you to be mafia currently, which apart from the lack of vote switch has all its roots in this night phase.
Everyone who voted on Dema would be under a small amount more scrutiny, just as everyone who voted on Kuro should currently be under a small amount of scrutiny unless Dema flips town at some point.
Some bandwagon theory:
I believe the people that should receive the most scrutiny for a bandwagon are early-middle. The first person is generally not complacent in it, unless he is particularly forceful about people joining him. Sometimes you can make the same case for the second.
The people who actually matter are the people who actually build up the bandwagon - sometimes the second, but always the third and fourth, and this continues up a point that is going to be different in every bandwagon. The end of a bandwagon is generally comparable to the beginning, because these people tend to mostly be sheep or votes that don't really matter because it's already decided. While you can find mafia among sheep at least, it tends to not look as bad as the early-middle portion.
The reason you might come under fire even at the end of the bandwagon is because you would push it to 6 when another bandwagon is 5. Yeah, that looks a bit shady, I'm not going to deny that. But in this situation, since there was another bandwagon, if Dema flipped town, we'd tend to look at Kuro first, as we should be looking at Dema (I haven't been talking about him, but rest assured I still suspect him more than the average as well), before we look at the suspicious people from Dema's bandwagon (i.e. you and the early-middles)
This is all ignoring the fact we have a whole night phase of actions to process soon and that is likely to change the dynamics of the round greatly, so you would be further less likely to be a lynch target. In fact, even though I would like to push a lynch on you, I don't expect I will because of that.
