How do we know there's not some Bastard rule in place? Ginyu could have easily rigged LSF to eventually turn into TSF or something

Okay, first off: No Bastard roles in this game. ^^

Now, to the roleclaim thing: To weaken this strategy, I purposefully did not reveal the exact numbers of most roles. It is nowhere said that there is a cap of 2 for a role, by the way. Three people claiming the same role can tell the truth. I had the intention that 2 mafia could just claim their role, and the TSF claim something else. So, there would not be two insta-dead mafia.

Follow-the-cop is, while being weak to Criminal Paranoiacs and Spies, still to an extent possible if I look through this discussion, though. I can modify the Nurse role to not be able to target the same player twice in a row.

If you think those two points are enough to not break the game anymore, I will change the Nurse and we can continue. If many of you still believe in a loophole, I can pause it for a bit and check what I can do otherwise. Suggestions can be sent to my by PM.

With that being said, I want to make sure that I do not confirm anyone's role here, or if the threat of the mass roleclaim is actually real in this current situation. I just went through a theoretical situation and how I tried to balance before the game started.

If you change any of the rules by this point, you are most likely going to have to restart the game.
People who have already claimed would not have if the nurse didn't enable the stratagem; changing the rules that would've directly altered how people would have played can lead to unfair advantages and a lot of salty shenanigans.

I support a nerf to nurse, though.

I'm also ok with restarting the game and changing the rules a tad. However I think the special forces shouldn't know each other. You can change nurse if you want also.

Ok so the reason this strategy should work is that it should give us a 5 player alliance on day 1. We can then weed out players iver time based on their PM.

So really the game isn't ruined because there are multiple roles, but the detective and nurse characters will know each other immediately.

Essentially it means the normal scenario of Mafia knowing eachother, and civvies not, is reversed, and Mafia know nothing,  where civvies know everything.

It's a slow break, but it's a break nonetheless. Still means Civvies will win, and it will be very 'follow the leader'.

Well as long as nurse saves me and no one messes with that, we are in a good spot. I've had the Officer claim so if anyone else is the real officer, speak now or forever hold your peace. If no one else claims then I will be forced to believe it.

After getting some feedback through this topic and by PM, I will go with the majority's suggestion to make changes and reset afterwards. I am sorry for this circumstances.

The following changes will be made:
- Nurse's "Heal" cannot target the same person twice in a row.
- The Judge cannot target himself with "Civil Process" anymore. (Uh, how was that overlooked? -.-)
- The Loyal Special Forces are not scripted town anymore, and will not know each other from the beginning (as they could be of two diff. factions).

I will announce when the game restarts (in roughly 2 hours). New roles are being sent out soon. Again, I am sorry. At least, most discussion that has been done will still be valuable with the changes made.

I will say it now before we restart...  please don't try to revenge kill me for "ruining" the game, I think it should count as a prior game and that would make it against the rules.

Feel free to kill me for legit reasons though.
