It's actually not even the tools, it's the "if I were mafia, I would do X instead of Y" bsery that makes me want to lynch you. Your gambit or whatever is not helping you at all. Surely, if you get lynched and roll town, we will lynch your target? The WIFOM or whatever is NOT helping.

"If I was mafia, I would do the correct thing instead of the thing that makes me not mafia" is perfectly valid as far as I care.
You do realise Discord was paying 0 attention to this game until I dug her out, right? I took one of the most important roles and gave them a job to do.
It isn't me trying to pull anything. It's no gambit, either. It's me stating that I am essentially confirmed. The only reason I didn't poke about it earlier is because I assumed it was mutually understood.
And you lot lynching who I tell you to lynch... I'd love it, but I'd consider it more important to not lynch someone who's so statistically unlikely to be mafia that it's not even funny.

trying to say that you'd do something else if you played mafia doesn't make it an excuse or a confirmation that you're not mafia for 'not playing the game sane/smart'.
I can demonstrate that I have thought of these moves, therefore, I am aware of them. If I am aware of these superior options, why didn't I do these superior options? Your best counter-argument would be to say that I thought of them after I had done them, but how can you prove that, hmm?
Again, you have to assume every player is playing at their best unless you have evidence to the contrary.
And really, the benefit of this dialogue is, given how I'm going to horribly, horribly die when I shouldn't is to get you folk talking. The more conversations, the more slips, the quicker this whole thing ends. Only mafia are scared of talking.
Honestly, Espithel claiming paranoiac makes a lot of sense if he's mafia. Can't be confirmed if the cop will die in the process, IIRC.
