rob: Are you claiming (or semi-claiming) Loyal Special Forces? If so, is your argument that the other SF Linkcat found is the mafia one and is lying?

Linkcat: Is your claim that rob is the mafia SF based on the fact that someone claimed LSF? If so, we now have 2 claims for LSF (in addition to yourself). Wouldn't it be helpful at this point to have that person claim so we can hear arguments from each of them and decide ourselves which one we think is mafia? (Obviously, there's a risk there, since you've already outed yourself and losing both LSF would be < ideal. Just saying that at this point rob being mafia is based on the word of someone unknown to us who - if they're mafia - would have every reason to lie about it.)

Also, if Rob is innocent and Link dies, we'll never know who this other person is. They'd also likely be mafia. I imagine Link would tell us during the night phase, though.

If you're a civilian and lied to Link about being LSF, coming forward before Linkcat reveals you will make us (me at least) way less suspicious of you.

The person who claimed LSF would have no reason to falsely claim as TSF, it would just ensure that they were outed. I did not tell them anything about what I had done, I simply asked if they were LSF. Rob, on the other hand, should have admitted to being LSF when I asked him about it.

I don't understand your logic there Lc. Why would my being suspicious of another player trying to secretly coerce me into admitting or spilling my role to them for no reason other than they promised me they were giving me THEIR role?

I would strongly advise against players responding in secret to another player trying to coerce or otherwise extract information out of them. My first mafia playing I did basically that with dawn (I think it was) and ended up that game didn't finish but I was so fooled and ended up I was civ talking with / in cahoots with mafia because I was going behind closed doors.

Seriously, I question the true motives of any player going around trying to privately or secretly chat with other players to get them all to give them their roles. Whether you are town or mafia that is highly questionable play.

The one game I _did engage_ in your private chat and try to entertain your secret discussions you were already convinced I was mafia and worked tirelessly to lynch me and I was a civilian.

Also, I have no way to know what of Lc's statements so far are true or false. I know he contacted me via chat PM to try to ask me about my role. I declined and posted here so all players could read and know that I would not be doing chat or mafia discussion outside this thread.

Alas it seems the best way for me to help town right now is to simply suggest my better alternative lynch and go down fighting the good fight. There is not much I can argue that my lynch would not be town-informative because either Lc is being somewhat truthful (most likely this, remember he and Dema def. subscribe to the school of "scummy town" can be helpful/good town) and my flip will give all other players insight into how to parse the rest of his claims. Or he is being totally truthful (not) and we'll get a good a strong set of town working together. Or Lc is doing a lot of lying and won't last long if I'm lynched.

To additionally address your statement about my frequency of read list posting: I would play that way regardless of vote counts and I am kind of shocked that you would take exception to it.
