The gatewatch celebrated their triumph over the phyrexian forces that seeped through the portal. With two of their old, compleated allies destroyed, they partied and cheered long into the night, Nissa consorted Elspeth and Koth to prepare the next move against the third phyrexian invasion.

Elspeth's golden mask shimmered in the black night, a night illuminated only by the distant eruption of the Shivan peaks. Koth hadn't seen Elspeth in some time, and was distraught over her loss of memory and identity.

Nissa stared at the distant magma. "One of the compleated spiked Jace's drink. Until he recovers, and with Gideon dead, I'll try and cause some leadership. You two have seen phyrexian corruption first-hand. Tell me your experiences about it."

Koth was worried at Elspeth's vacant glances. If he could just cure her, somehow...
