I don't think it is worth taking the risk. Mafia gets an additional kill, math himself can be mafia, and Nahiri can search for other players. Losing her would be too heavy, and from mafia's sight, totally worth sacrificing a member to get Nahiri and an additional kill.

would only be 100% confirmed town if after we let him live (if we do, not sure we should) he was then confirmed by a role. the problem is, as I see it, how does he get independantly confirmed without Nahiri outing themself.

Could have whoever was targeted by Nahiri in the first night report the result of whether Nahiri finds mathman to be civ. Only flaw in this is if the mafia message civilians, pretending to be Nahiri...not really sure how to get around that...

What if Nahiri's night 1 target was Mafia, or 1 of the 3 civvies lynched by tomorrow? There's only about a 65% chance that Nihiri will have a mouthpiece (assuming 4 Mafia).

Speaking of which, do we know how many Mafia there are? I don't remember seeing it anywhere and can't be bothered looking.

Except that Nahiri couldn't expose the Mafia without revealing themselves. They would have to wait until they'd found another civvy to announce it, which could only happen after at least 2 nights

I was going to point this out after giving enough time for Nahiri to contact her target. I think 24 hours is long enough. I propose that anyone contacted by someone claiming to be Nahiri after the time of Root's post should not believe that person, and if nobody comes out tomorrow saying math is mafia, we all roleclaim to him. This relies on a couple assumptions, but a confirmed town immune to Nightkills is so valuable that I think it's worth the risk. A full roleclaim would result in a civvy central of math, Nahiri, Ajani, Elspeth, Narset, and Nahiri's Night 1 target. That's ~5 people on Day 3, which is more than the mafia. It's essentially a won game at that point.

Even if we don't go with that immediate plan, lynching someone immune to Nightkills is still a mistake. I also have a hard time believing a mafia Nicol Bolas would target themselves. I don't have any suspicions right now, so I'm going with No Lynch.

But link, couldn't that be what a nicol gamble? I mean all they have to do is convince enough people that they're civy, then claim 2 two kills instead of one, plus then if information is scrambled we'd have to wait another night, giving nicol 2 rounds of lynch "immunity" while we try to figure out who he is, killing 3 civies in the process, likely one of them being an information role. Yes, and unNKable civy at civy central is basically the dream, but there are a vast amount of risks here, which i why I haven't placed my vote.
