I have no problem with this game leaning mafia as long as I am mafia again.

I think this needs changed to 'During the first Playing Phase, specify a list of players...' or even just make it a typical Patching Phase action so it can be used whenever, but only work for that round and future rounds.

I'd agree with the other two changes you suggested (or rather implied in TF's case).

It's still time to put this here before the game starts.

Constructive advice was heeded, so as Point 5 of the 8 mafia guidelines, and since it's general knowledge anyway, in this game I will slightly change my usual behaviour and try out a different strategy.
