I object. It was NOWHERE in the rules that the night starts off by already killing a Blue team member. Start with a day phase!

The roles that are being used will not be disclosed.

I heavily object. This was the main point that was requested, and now you are just screwing with us. Give us general knowledge of the roles, or count me out. It's not what I signed up to.

I, on the other hand, am perfectly fine with not knowing what the roles are. That's sort of the point of the mafia; they are a shadow organization with abilities you don't know, and you will have to defeat them in order to win.

However, if you are intent on finding out roles, I'm sure we could find the voting character who is always blue, and PM them our roles a la the suggestion made at the end of previous mafia.

I also was a bit iffy about the night patch phase being the first to go through, but if you think about it, you can't really lynch anyone on the first day, can you? You can just make plans, which you already are able to do in chat or the likes.

as far as lore goes, knowing the roles is like knowing what each champion can do. So I'm fine either way, but Id prefer which roles are in the game as tradition goes with mafia.
