w3's vote on Root was an attempt to randomly lynch someone. Your vote was stated as an attempt to stop a random lynch. I don't see how those are the same.

My vote on Discord was also random, if that wasn't apparent. I just didn't (and don't) see the merit of 1) proving that it's random, and thus preventing it from being read into, and 2) allowing Root to die automatically with no resistance. Otherwise, they're both random votes presumably made to kickstart a lynch and provoke discussion.

The whole point of proving that it's random is to prevent it from being read into like I did. To me it looks like you tried to go for an easy lynch, although there's still a high chance that you're town.

Reading into things is a huge part of the game, removing that option takes away from the game imo.
