Me quitting on Day 3 will guarantee I have at least one confirmed townie and we don't have to juggle the protection between me and him/Sub + disagreeing with hosting + proves I'm town and stops paranoia.

Unless Mafia agreed to sacrifice one in order to win the whole game by having us give all our information to you. Seems like a smart sacrifice if it gives away all of our information.

This gambit is definitely viable in simple setup. In more complex ones like this, though, it would be extremely risky for mafia with very litle reward. It's not a smart sacrifice here because if it is known that the mafia has all the information, then the town can safely share information with each other, making scum hunting significantly easier. I'd argue mafia pulling that move here is borderline destructive to their chances.
