It's the 24 hour period. It doesn't need to be exactly 24 hours, it fulfills the need even if it's just delayed enough that it won't go first. If you want to vote on X on day 5, you will get your vote on X during day 5.

Night 0 commences!

During night 0, the following actions will take place:

• All players should vote for a Mayor. This will be expained just a bit below.*
• During Night 0, all Primary and Secondary Roles will be randomized.
• Halfway during the night, everyone should have their roles in their Inbox. Please memorize these messages.
• After the roles are received, abilities can be used. However, there will be no deaths during Night 0.

Spoiler for How to vote on a Mayor:

You can send in 3 names in a numbered order. For example:
1. Calindu
2. RootRanger
3. deuce22
(these are just example names. for Mayor voting, only those names will be valid who are in the game)

People put on first place [here: Calindu] will worth 3 votes, second place [here: RootRanger] worth 2 votes and third place [deuce22] worth 1. At the end of Night 0, the voting counts of all players will be added together and the person with the most votes will be the first Mayor. Note that the first Mayor will be a human, so even if a werewolf has the most votes, that player will simply be just skipped.

Vote carefully! You don't want the first Mayor to be too obvious, because then the Shadow Wolf can easily spot him/her. But you also want the Mayor to be someone who's a good strategist, just like a true Mayor.
