Shulktifa's boss was not too pleased. "...I congratulate you, once again, for your short-sighted efforts to keep the situation under control."

Detective Bulvogi and FBI agent Shulktifa were both looked away from each other. Despite the impressive work to get rid of one of the main criminals that was distributing 'E' through San Sarino, the target was still not one of the original pushers. Neighboring cities had began holding various protests and rallies regarding the sudden death of a celebrity Security Guard who had crossed paths with potential drug dealers. A small pile of magazines was laid out in front of the two officers on a simple wooden desk. Tabloids printing out fictional (and grossly edited) stories of the guard in question having a terrible addiction, and its effect on the young male actors that he gave service to.

Shulktifa began to start, "We just need another lead sir; anything, at this point. The fact that Bulvogi managed to lip-read the tape-"

But was quickly interrupted: "It's not about leads, it's about god damn control. That's the whole point!" Commissioner Kamietsu began scattering the magazines before he pointed to one with bold letters reading 'CONSPIRACIES WITHIN-' before throwing it to the trash. "The case was about who originally killed the Harvard Law student days ago, and now - now, we have a prominent person in the news being taken out again by these very same sociopaths that you tried to contain within the city. Your disguise is completely gone Anna, and Bulvogi - while you were outside 'partying' with your boys, some Janitor was offed the following day in the federal departments, where, UNSURPRISINGLY, one of the Lawyers working on your damn case was also found dead, strung up to look like some half-assed suicide attempt in his own personal office."

He paused.

"And now we have this."

After turning his computer screen around to face the two detectives, they all watched as a group of protestors of varying age and creed (and ambiguous gender, due to their unusual masks and covering attire) began assaulting the riot police in full force, with a newscaster being knocked down unintentionally by a smoke grenade. The camera falls down as a police officer begins to stumble into the camera man; a female protestor is smacked hard in the face on the right side of the screen by an officer's shield, while the camera itself is attacked by a man wearing yellow 'CAUTION' tape over his face. The camera cracks upon the first hit from what appears to be a crowbar, then goes black.

Silence. And the light above them flickered.

Day 8
Time is now over.

gusxz was killed. He was a Security Guard Vigilante.

As I explained in chat, a RNG lynch gives us the best chance of finding a mafia, if we don't have any actual leads. If we let the lynch be decided by a player, it could be swayed by mafia - or worse, the player deciding the lynch could be mafia.

The random player was /rolled in chat, where everybody could see it to confirm that I'm not just making this up.

I was about to make a detailed post about how the risky roles should be in fact more dangerous in the endgame (if I'm reading this right), and so killing them would be the ideal play over weak roles like mine. But then power went out, and I came back and read chat history. Root's argument seems alright.

"Risky lynch" people are equally suspicious as "good lynch" people, the only difference is in role usefulness, which is only a factor if said person is civvy.
So the kirby vote is actually legit.

If kirby flips mafia, godisnowonline will be suspicious too, because they played with similar strategies so far, AKA when JCJ and I asked for help publicly, they jumped to help us by revealing their useful roles and informations to us (not at the same time).
