Inside the coroner's laboratory, a body with a bold scarlet line traced neatly around his adam's apple and neck was lying on the table. The multiple white lights above illuminated the victim, and as the analyst began picking up his papers from a nearby desk, the other person standing in the corner, a former officer of the San Sarino police department, decided to speak quickly.

"It's not suicide though." The officer stated bluntly.

"Obviously not." The analyst paced over and used a black light over the person's neck. "Look here; even though there was a rope supposedly strangling him by the time the witness spotted him, there are traces of this extremely thin line, blue, in color, encircling straight around the same area. He was choked by a wire; he didn't lynch himself during the night."

"So now, instead of an addict who was suffering withdrawal and couldn't take it, we instead have the possibility of someone related to the underworld attacking him in regards to 'L'."

"I thought it was called 'E'?" he looked at the former officer amusingly.

And in response, "Well, as the saying goes: 'PO-TAY-TOE', 'PO-TAR-SENIC'."

A light flickered above them. Perhaps it was a sign that such matters should be taken more seriously.

We should probably stop random lynching people. Maybe wait until power roles can prove or deny something, literally anything. Because a "hunch" just makes things worse. Also, Rip in piece Ian. Another ninja has fallen.

I used to agree with this strategy, still not totally against it, but everyone else seems to think that it increases our chances of finding mafia by doing lynches every day. There is risk involved, for sure, but I at least see how the math adds up - fewer players = higher percentage chance of lynching mafia.

Got lucky, it is as unlikely to happen as a random lynch resulting in a mafia kill, but my ability turned up a mafia confirmation. Unless I suck at reading rules. I may need protection. Cause...
