The four mafia members were patrolling the streets of Kanto, looking for their next victim. Having dispatched both Lance and Red, they had nothing to fear. Or so they thought. Standing in their way, in the middle of an empty street, was an evil cactus.
“I’m not evil,” complained the cactus. “That’s offensive!”
“Did that cactus just talk?” Giovanni asked.
“I think he said he’s evil,” replied Maxie.
“Get away from me!” yelled the cactus, as he summoned his Hydreigon. The dark dragon swooped below the cactus and levitated five meters into the air.
“It’s impossible to reach him up there!” Ghetsis stated.
“Good thing I’ve got me Jacob’s Ladder,” said Archie. He pulled out a long bundle of ropes, tied together in a pattern.
“Yar har har,” he said, tossing the rope onto the talking cactus.
“That really hurt,” the cactus said. “You’re a big meanie!”
“Guys, we should stop. We’re being big meanies,” Maxie said, completely unironically.
“Wait, is Maxie actually being serious?” Ghetsis asked. “This is the person who nearly took over Hoenn?”
“You act like that’s an accomplishment,” Giovanni said with a sigh.
“Can we just kill the landlubber already?” Archie asked.
And so, the mafia members climbed up on top of the levitating dragon to kill the talking cactus.
