Mafia care more about their individual survival than town.  This makes them interpret an individual's vote on them as a threat.

Flyingcat's entire response to me was "He voted for me, I'm suspicious of him because I'm town and he voted for me".

On mafiascum, this is called OMGUS voting, for "OMG U Suck", which means that flyingcat is basically looking at my vote and being like "OMG U Suck for voting me" and voting me back.

The thoughts Linkcat had on kirby/Kuro/iancu all seemed reasonable too.  Kuro probably looks the worst of the three, but I think flyingcat's response to my vote is more suspcious than that.
