You're using my position to construct a straw man claim of "All internet mafia is badly designed." and "All mafia relies on another person's face.", and then attacking me using that misrepresented position. If this is where you want to take the argument, consider this my last post on this thread.

It is exactly as I stated - this system in this context relies on emotional tells from another person's face, or other physical feature. Without access to any of that, this forum's mindset becomes heavily limited due to their overreliance on using roles in the most efficient way possible. Roblox's strategies are likely more different and adaptable to this sort of system, but this forum's attitude towards mafia still clearly makes this system impractical - the majority of players don't try to figure things out until it's too late and thus the mafia had an extremely easy time hiding and misleading others.

When a robloxian does occasionally rise up and do mafia, what they do is either have a small pool of basic roles, or have a small amount of one role - this setup is based around the latter idea. The only radical change is the mafia doctor and the confirming the first civilian lynch. I might have put too few purifiers in, as well.

And, this forum's attitude towards mafia still clearly makes this system impractical. I'd agree to that. That has a ring of validity to it. But if we want to go around blaming people, is that the fault of the developer not considering the attitude, or the fault of the forum being unable to adapt to the ruleset?

There's much to learn from this mafia.
For example, where is the line drawn between a mafia to dependant on seeing someone's face, and a mafia too dependant on abilities and simply going through the notions? I'm still of the notion that this mafia isn't dependant enough, because I'm sure, with a few more playthroughs and perhaps a tweak to the purifier numbers, this setup would be fine.

I've already given my criticism to the forum regarding their attitudes on this. The only feedback that remains to be given is to the developer.

Yes, but this mafia doesn't provide a good example of where to set the line, rather where the extremes lie. Hosting the same mafia design would require that multiple people give up their ideas for mafia, which in turn is an issue with the whole single-host sign up system (and before Kuroaitou says it, cohosting should not be considered the only possible fix to the line of single hosts that are piling up) Tweaks are doable, but not in the context of how the section currently works.
