Total luck on getting the first 2 purifiers. Z was a primary target once it was down to a single purifier, since we assumed they had to be protecting dd. I was very surprised that dd didn't organize the purifiers to spread out their protection among multiple players. I'd have had one on dd, one on Z, and one on a random other player.

Noting little scumtells and other oddities. It's like a puzzle, and my death was the final piece. I'll do an analysis later tonight.

Probably should have done this when I considered it - hindsight is 20/20.

1) Feel free to explain how it's poorly designed.

2) The flavour is that the Threxes are Espithel's servants. Therefore, if the Threxes win, Espithel wins. Because it is of Espithel's account that determines lore, it makes perfect sense that Espithel gets the win.

3) Did I promise that? I recall saying it has the potential to change how people think about mafia. All I wanted to do was create a mafia that relied more on instinct and guts then actual abilities. That can be criticised whether that's a good or a bad thing, but that is the style of mafia I was introduced to, and therefore, the style of mafia I tried to recreate.

I had no intention of "changing mafia perception". It may have been necessary for the towns to win, to change thier perception (Which they didn't), but that wasn't my goal.

Back on roblox, we didn't have these extreme roles. We still got by pretty fine, with a relatively balanced setup.
Of course, that's a forum with a good amount of little kids. This is not a forum with a good amount of little kids.

As far as I see it, you're positing that mafia's core foundation needs to be able to see someone's face. So... What? All internet mafia is badly designed? All internet mafia is dysfunctional? That's a large claim.
And of course, that's not what you mean. So feel free to explain where the line is drawn - when a game becomes too dependant on seeing someone's face.
