DAWN OF THE NINTH DAY
Okay, guys.
A really awkward and special case has happened right now. I'll do the lore for everyone else later, I need to get this out quickly, though.
Kuroaitou, a Vanilla Victim, has been appeased via Lynch.
This is to be expected.
This is the problem, however:
Nobody has been appeased via Threx Nightkill.
There is only one way right now this can happen, and normally, I'm not supposed to disclose this, but I should.
The Threxes didn't send in a nightkill, therefore, they didn't kill anyone. Therefore, there are now 2 civilians and 2 mafia. Therefore, the civilians can still win the game via RNG.
A very big argument could/should arouse over whether this is the right thing or not, but this is what the rules dictate I do.
Even though I just broke them by telling you the threxes didn't send in a nightkill. Am I punishing a really easily rectifiable error too much? I don't know - they should've sent in a nightkill. I am on the lawful neutral side of the argument, but I can completely understand and respect the "This is BS just let the mafia win" argument.
As a result, I'm going to ask everyone else about the ethics.
So what I'm going to do, is this:
We'll have a ninth day. If both civilians vote on a mafia, this will make RNG will happen twice. The first RNG between the two lynched. Then day 10'll happen, and the remaining civilian and mafia (This is assuming I kill a mafia with the RNG, the mafia will kill the other civilian via NK) will obviously vote on each other, causing a second RNG lynch that'll determine the game. Day 10 will happen on the ninth twilight - when the target of day nine's lynch and nightkill is revealed.
However, If all people still in the game (UTAlan, Linkcat, iancumarindorian, and qwerter) agree to it, I'll just let the mafia win, as some would argue they probably should by this point.
Or, if the majority of people who have participated in this mafia want the game to end with a mafia victory, I will.
I think this is the fairest way of doing it.
I should've stated clearly the win condition of the Threxes (You win when the Victims cannot possibly win. The Victims win when all Threxes are dead.), and perhaps made the win condition in a way that this somewhat cheap way doesn't happen if I ever use these rules a second time.
Or, the mafia could just, um... Send in a nightkill?
Next twilight at Tuesday, March 17th, 9 PM GMT.
You have a grudge against a psychotic emperor.
