Twas fun, even if my part was brief! I wanna echo the sentiment that if you are a civvy about to be lynched, don't give up. Worst case scenario is you role-claim and get NK'd that night, but at least the lynch may not be wasted on you.

Crockett did indeed lie - he told me he was targeted by the Policeman on Night 1, when this has been revealed to not have been the case. Not like it really matters though, because fortunately eljo/Kuro did well enough to win.

I still stand by that I didn't lie because I believe I didn't lie at the time. It was a misreading/misinterpretation/mistake

It wasn't random, thank you. I thought it was going to win the game, because if Crockett was mafia, it would have simply killed him, and if he was civilian, it would stop him from doing any more things to harm the civilians AND remove him from the pool of incorrect lynches at the same time. Unfortunately I put too much trust into the civilians to correctly kill eljoemo - maybe the evidence wasn't as clear-cut against him as I thought.

I thought it was going to win the game, because if Crockett was mafia, it would have simply killed him, and if he was civilian, it would stop him from doing any more things to harm the civilians AND remove him from the pool of incorrect lynches at the same time. I suspected eljoemo and zawadx (zawadx because of a certain post he made)
If you kept me alive, eljoe wouldve probably died after you died, or you would have lived one more day because mafia would most likely target me after killing frozen

Great game qwerter; to me, the endgame was perfect in my opinion.

That being said, eljoemoe's stalking message showed us 3 options: ian, elk, and Sub as all being the first people to target Root with their abilities on Night 1. Luckily I chose the right person to kill after our policeman died to increase chaos and suspicion. From then on out, I basically had made 'plans' for each night with eljoemo to keep ourselves low-profile and place suspicion on higher priority targets; this final night, I was gonna mayor-kill flyingcat as I thought HE was the sociologist, but it turns out I was wrong by a landslide (there was no Lawyer assigned, odd).

Not like it really matters though, because fortunately eljo/Kuro did well enough to win.

Thank you Root. It feels nice to win as mafia for once.

For what it's worth, here are the mafia roles that we had:

• Mayor
• Stalker
• Policeman
• Politician
• Merchant -> Santa Claus

Funny how the 'quieter' roles (Mayor/Stalker) weren't viewed as huge issues like in real life, while EVERYONE is skeptical of a policeman or politician. xD


Anyway, I'll leave this topic open for a little while longer, but to Mafia 45 folks~

Thanks for sticking with me I guess. Before this game began, I mentioned on chat I was still feeling pretty depressed, over stuff in real life. I said I'll complete this mafia though, and I'm glad I did. Can't say I'm feeling better about that particular RL issue, but other stuff (read: school) is keeping me away from thinking about it, so generally I'm better now. Thanks once again, and I hope to see you guys again, as a player, in the next game

Question to my mafia buddies - Why did you kill ddevans?

Slight mistake on my part - there was a HIGH chance that ddevans96 would have made an alliance with skyironsword after you died, making it impossible for eljoemo to survive against the supposedly 'sociologist' deduction (I honestly though skyironsword was sociologist; never suspected someone like Zawadx, who I thought was the Lawyer and flyingcat as either Influential, Student, or Journalist).

By killing off ddevans, I was risking the chance that we could change the perception of the remaining civilians that skyironsword was playing ddevans AND everyone else by the false deductions, seeing as you were going to die anyway once Physsion went out. Luckily, this plan worked, and once sky was dead, we killed bossitron to prevent any mayor overrulings to save the final night.
