Pretty sure the "No quoting PMs" only refers to the host's PMs in particular. About the other part, while yes strictly speaking Submachine did declare himself as mafia, but I believe the rule's intention here is to prevent gamethrowing. Either as a town member or a mafia member I see a legitimate intention in doing so, and I personally would not penalize him for this. (Dammit ambiguous rules) Further rules discussion after the game, please?

You can't say that you yourself are scum. If you search a maf then you can't tell him either. Clearly written in the rules. Dunno why you're arguing...

Srsly tho, exploiting this loophole is NOT okay. I request a ban for Sub, and would like to ask Kuro to investigate this further.

The fact that the scum in this mafia is non-standard means that rule simply should not apply. This is why general-purpose rules are bad - because they don't always apply to the mafia being hosted at the time. Either every host needs to write out their own rules, or the general rules need to be so comprehensive as to cover an insane amount of situations.

...alright, I'm too tired to remember EBWOP before submitting posts, so here goes a triple post.

There's been two major situations in this mafia, now, summed up as follows:

1) Crockett technically did not break a rule, but in this mafia game, that should have been a rule.
2) Submachine technically did break a rule, but in this mafia game, that should not have been a rule.

This is why I say either every mafia needs to have their own specific rules, or the general rules need to be incredibly comprehensive.

I'll admit that I did not foresee beforehand how this rule might not apply due to my "flavour" (?), and apologize for not editing the rule beforehand. If need be I'll take the full blame for this.
