Civvy plan: Diplomat publically confirms.
All targeting abilities except merchant target diplomat. Merchant cant target diplomat to get confirmed n1 because of order of abilities.
Diplomat will claim publically, dw. Anyone who wants to counter claim go ahead, one of us is mafia.

I am publicly claiming diplomat. If I wasn't civvy, I wouldn't propose this plan with policemen targeting me. We don't need to confirm the targeting roles, we just need them to comply. With confirming people's roles, we can make civvy plans. Anyone who doesn't comply with civvy plans is scum. Policemen then targets other people with non-confirmed roles, detective keeps targeting the same person as the policemen. Policemen and Detective would be confirmed by targeting me, the diplomat. If policemen is mafia I won't be confirmed, but since day 1 hasn't passed a search couldn't be used. If I was mafia, I can't be sure that policemen is mafioso and as a mafioso this proposed plan would be super risky. If I'm mafia and I'm policemen, then having everyone with a targeting role target me won't tell me who targeted me, so if I can tell who targeted me I'm confirmed diplomat, and policemen if civvy will 100% confirm me civvy.

I told you this as my plan ian. Keep your side of the deal in that you'd change your vote to root.
