RIP, Kirby - from your post, I thought you were admitting your guilt! Turns out none of the members in that mafia PM were real mafia members, and instead of being in the advantageous position I thought we were, we're 4 civvies down and none the wiser.

I feel like signs may even be pointing at me, after all this - despite the turnaround in what I thought was a big step forward for the civilians, I hope we can pull this back together and figure out what our next step is.

Alright, all guns on the table now. I have contact with the Sociologist. Dm and Physsion are opposing factions, eljoemo and sky are opposing factions. I don't trust my own judgement anymore, I'm too rusty at high-level mafia to do the things I used to be able to do, so I'm not going to dissect that any further at the moment.

Ok, so looking back at the listed players, we see that sky claims to be an investigative role. So we should preserve her as investigative roles will be crucial at this stage.

That leaves Physs and Dm. Physs had a huge post where he bolded out a claim as civvie. His rash behavior at that point really makes me suspicious, even more so now that CR flipped civvie. Physs has also seen a suspicious rise in activity following that outburst, especially his previous post which is generally a tactic of mafia trying to gain civvie trust in endgame. While there's loads of WIFOM here, my suspicion's on Physs.

I understand your suspicions, Zawa. I'm aware that CR being revealed as civilian, and losing our bodyguard paints a big red mark on me. If I can get you to hold out for one more night, and we can take out Dm instead, I can prove my innocence through the sociologist's information.

My rise in activity started when I received that PM - obviously, I wanted to make use of the information, so went to Crockett. I've been involved in the events unfolding from that drama, so I've been more active in the progression of the game... even if I've been responsible for the deaths of several people since it happened.

I don't think any progress from this point moving forward can justify the loss of four civilians since the false information I received was revealed, however, if we can start catching more mafia members, I'll feel much better about it. I hope we can win this for the civvies.

Physsion feels more civvy than not to me. It doesn't make sense that he would contact CR to kill kirby if he was mafia. Even without the sociologist, he'd have no way to survive. This seems more bad (or unfortunate) civvy play than mafia play to me. Then again this whole thing is practically 50:50, so I'm just guessing here.

I just don't understand how none of the four players who claimed to Sub could be mafia. I don't want to believe Physsion is mafia, but the math points that way.

How do the numbers point to me, ddevans? You said it yourself that you were almost certain that Dm was mafia, at the very beginning of Day 5:

Dm is 95% mafia.

How does the information revealed since then make him any less likely to be mafia? Are you convinced that I am now >95%?

I appreciate the votes, elk and eljoemo - kirby being lynched was a very unfortunate mistake, but if everyone looks back to Day 5, you can see that the logic and reasoning behind that accusation was solid. Sorry kirby, I should have talked to you first.

I'll say again - with the sociologist's information, unless the sociologist is lying, or ddevans is lying*, Dm and I are on opposing factions. People have been suspicious of him the whole way through, and I would implore all of you to take action before it's too late. I believe I am a likely night-kill target tonight, whether I get lynched or not, and with no bodyguard alive, there's not a whole lot I can do to stop it.


* these two cases are way beyond my own thinking capacity. If Dm turns out to be a civilian, I won't even know what to believe any more, and I know I'll have nothing to go on if I'm still alive by that point.
