I don't really like the Traitor actually. His win conditions are way worse than all other's. Is he really necessary to the game? :/

Thought so too, to be honest. Will these:
a) Traitor will have protection from 1 kill, either from assassin or mafia
b) Traitor is seen as Civilian by Policeman

Balance this?

Yes, I fixed the rules because initially the rules who stipulate both to die.

This is one of the most confusing mafia's and practically everyone will get a role. >.> Your not wanting to participate in previous mafias for them being too confusing and having too many roles seems ridiculously inconsistent in my perspective.

I think it's not the skill that needs to be buffed, but the win condition. How about making the Traitor simply a civvy role? Or making him win if he reaches day X alive.

...nothing is really necessary to a mafia game besides the uninformed majority (civilians) and an enemy party, everything else is simply flavor.

Hmm, initially I wanted to design a 3rd party that couldn't benefit either from town/mafia (SK is one example), but I do agree that 3rd parties are also tough to win as. Even the mere Survivor is statistically unlikely to win.

How about:

"The Traitor can win with the Mafia if he and Mafia outnumber town. The Traitor can also win alone (slightly more Master of Mafia points, maybe?) if he can outnumber the town and all of the Mafia are dead"?
